...This estate is located on the northern side of the river. It is hot and moist, ideal conditions for insects. Organic gardens are rare in Assam. The teas generally do have the golden tips found on the best Assams. Without tips, the sweet honey flavors are missing.

The aroma is mild: you've got to put your nose pretty close to smell anything, and you don't get a whole lot even when you do. But, fear not, it does have some aroma. And that is "mild black tea," right out of central casting.
Low tannins, low bitterness, low astringency, low anything else that makes black tea unpleasant at times: this is a mild tea. But mild isn't bad. In this case, mild is good. If you're in the mood for a simple, calming, and unobtrusive tea, then this organic assam is ready for action.
