Commercial Description
White tea is from the younger leaves and leaf buds of the tea plant. It brews a light, champagne colored cup with delicate, honeysuckle flavor notes. Also known as White Peony tea.
Brewing Instructions: (from San Francisco Herb Company)
Recommended steeped from 2 minutes (for a pale, champagne cup) to 5 minutes (for a deeper, amber cup). Best brewed at 158-176 Fahrenheit (70-80 Celsius).
