Tiny leaves with abundant gold buds. By itself it was only a so-so tea, but with the addition of milk it took a huge leap forward into being very, very good, with a hint of malt on top of a solid dry oak leaf and floral note. The difference was truly amazing. and worthy of the Ex. Spl designation. I would recommend only a 3- 3.5 minute infusion, as it gets tannic at 4. The marks are on the low side because it is so unexceptonal without milk.
