With a fancy curled leaf and rich, flavorful cup, this selection is a great choice for those seeking either a smooth breakfast tea or flavorful iced tea. The liquor is well balanced and has a deep reddish-brown hue. A good stand-alone drinker from this popular estate, which can also be enhanced with a splash of milk.

This is a Ceylon whose character is somewhat in between the high-grown, lighter Ceylon black teas and the richer, maltier ones. Strong but smooth, with tones of rice, wintergreen, and malt. Very rich red-brown color.
Although this tea is initially quite smooth, the aftertaste is rather tannic: bitter and astringent, especially if you brew it more strongly.
Relatively inexpensive too. A good option for people who want a fairly typical Ceylon of above-average quality.
