This is among my favorite batches of hibiscus yet, but it's pricey for what it is. I only enjoy hibiscus tea iced, not hot, and I usually brew it weak and drink it straight (unsweetened).
Dry leaf has a very strong aroma of jam or cooked fruit, which I don't like, but I find this aroma diminished upon brewing.
Sour, but slightly less sour than other hibiscus, which I like. A lot like unsweetened cranberry juice. Very refreshing.
Although this was very good, I thought it was also on the expensive side: $30 a pound is a lot, especially for stuff that isn't even certified organic, when Frontier Coop sells it for under $20 cut and sift, or $21 for whole flowers. I'd stick with Frontier Coop as my preferred source.
