Interesting tea, a step up from their standard Earl Grey flavor-wise, but hardly any aroma in-cup and almost none in the dry bag. The net effect rendered a slightly lower rating, though if given a rigidly binary choice between the two, I'd take this.

If two words could describe this product, they are "unexpected complexity." As with the other recent Benner ratings, this one came from a 2025 holiday gift pack that apparently has a limited run, though some of these teas have appeared before and may again.
The dry-bag aroma was weak and mostly fruity (pear), but...

Mandarin Ginger Green Tea is another product from this year's (2025) ribbon-wrapped holiday multipack, and may or may not return in the future. I hope it does. It's fairly good, especially at the price point of 12¢/bag. Note that this is not the same as Benner's Ginger Green Tea that is advertised on their website....

This is my first from 6-tea holiday variety box purchased at ALDI. Based on the website "ALDI Reviewer," some of the teas have made seasonal appearances before, such as in Advent calendars containing teas and snacks. Benner Earl Grey (from ALDI food stores) came across much the opposite to me, on first try, as to the other reviewer: weak on bergamot and OK on tea. In fact, when opening the paper wrapper for each bag and taking a good sniff, I hardly could detect the bergamot, but the tea was obvious in the dry aroma. The bergamo...
