↑About Good Earth Teas
Good Earth Teas, previously an American tea company, is a subsidiary of Tata Tea Ltd, which is owned by Tata Group, a multinational corporation based in Mumbai, India. The company's branding and focus has changed radically over the years.
Good Earth Teas originally developed a blend of black and herbal teas "Sweet & Spicy", for which it is best known. It also had a line of medicinal or wellness teas, and it was frequently sold in natural food stores. Over time, Good Earth discontinued their medicinal teas, and expanded into selling many variants of their "sweet and spicy" blend; the branding on these can be confusing as there are both organic and non-organic varieties, as well as those using a black tea base and caffeine-free variants using rooibos bases. More recently the company has launched "Sweet & Spicy" blends including medicinal herbs as well. The company frequently renames and rebrands its products without making clear which have been discontinued and which just renamed.
According to their website in 2013, Good Earth tea uses 75% solar energy in their factory, uses unbleached tea bags, with tags made from recycled material. The company has also removed plastic wrap from their boxes of tea, which reduces environmental impact. Good Earth has removed this material from their website, as of 2018 we could not find it, so we do not know much about current environmental practices.

My boss drinks this at work and while it smells like Christmas - I can't deal with this type of tea. It is caffeine free and brews up in about 3-4 minutes. Mid-priced. Affordable. Not my fave. So. Much. Cassia bark.
Read Full ReviewThis is a surprisingly complex tea. Good Earth bills it as a "zesty and fruity marmalade flavor" but I'm not sure I entirely agree. It does taste like marmalade, but it's not what I would call "zesty". Initially, it's predominantly citrus and could be considered zesty, but it quickly mellows to a more balanced, smooth ...
Read Full ReviewI've said before that ginger tea can be a bit overpowering at times. In this case, it's one of the best blended ginger teas I've found to date. The ginger is there, but not overpowering. The apricot is full-flavored but not overly fruity. All in all, it's a very well-balanced tea that is a pleasure to drink.
Read Full ReviewIt's no secret I love Chai, and this one is no different. The turmeric is subtle, not overpowering as it tends to be, but the blend gives this tea a distinct earthy flavor. It's not as spicy as many similar blends, but comes across as a very smooth, flavorful tea. It's not my favorite chai, but it is one I will definit...
Read Full ReviewI'm going to call this a "temporary" review. While I'm going to endeavor to be accurate, I actually drank this tea while in the middle of a VERY long work day, and forgot to do the review on the spot. As such, I'm reviewing based on a memory from almost a day ago. The likelihood is that I will be updating this review o...
