Along with China Green Tips, this has to be Tazo's other best tea in tea bags. I typically do not drink herbal teas at all, but this one is really excellent. I typically do not care much for western styles of black tea, but this Earl Grey is pretty good. The bergamot may seem a bit overpowering, but actually it's a fairly balanced tea. It is probably an acquired taste, and is good for people who want a truly strong and dark black tea.

Opaque and dark black tea with a bit of smoothness. It has some unique qualities and is not the typical black tea, but it lacks any real complexity or richness. Quite plain, really.

Aroma comes from added flavors, not from the tea leaves, really. The flavor is basically spearmint and lemongrass, with little green tea flavor to be found. This is kind of a novelty tea, but nice on rare occasions. This tea could have broad appeal, but precisely because there is very little actual tea flavor.
