This is a great classic black tea! It doesn’t have a super strong aroma or any rly unique qualities but it’s just so smooth and delicious that I have to give it such a high score anyway! It tastes like what it’s evil twin Lipton tea is trying to be. It’s not bitter or astringent at all just smooth and rich! I c...

This is a go-to breakfast tea for me. It's a little on the lighter side, not as robust as some of my other choices, but good for a slow. leisurely wake up.

I like this tea. It's rich, strong, and not too bitter. I added cream and sugar. I probably wouldn't buy it myself because it has a lot of plastic packaging.

I have been to the plantation which is a great experience. This is a very very good tea. Top notch. It tastes great all by itself without any sweetener or milk. I normally use both but it says a lot when a tea can be enjoyed on its own.

Nothing remarkable with this tea. Nice color, no noticeable highlights in the taste. I would say a good all day sipping tea.

Fantastic tea! I'm also incredibly excited that it's grown in the United States.
For a black tea, I was surprised that the taste reminded me of my favorite oolongs; there was a lot of vegetable flavor happening in my cup.

On my scale from 1 (Lipton) to 10 (totally transcendent), this tea is about an 8. Very good: full-bodied and not too sour, acidic or tannic - but not my favorite black tea. It would probably make a really excellent iced tea with lemon.

I was surprised at how different this tasted from the Charleston Breakfast blend. I like this one better, and ironically, I think it tastes more like a strong English breakfast tea, whereas the other blend tastes more like a plain, medium-bodied black tea.

Not bad, but not a favorite. It tastes like a decent quality southern-style black tea. No bitterness I can notice. I feel like, for me, it would benefit from a squirt of lemon juice, though I don't have any on hand to try it. I think regular southern tea drinkers would really like this one, but it's not quite dazzling ...

A light-bodied, smooth-flavored tea which was pleasant to drink.
Thank you to Nikki and Korbett for bringing this one to me from Charleston! I expected this to be more of a novelty, but it was surprisingly good quality!

Wow, the first tea I ever sampled that was grown on U.S. soil! This was quite remarkable, as a curiosity. As a tea though, it was less interesting...it still seems that the main appeal of this tea is its novelty value.

this tea was a major disappointment. was hoping it would be good! flat, tasteless. pale green, almost clear liquor, which is fine in a high quality tea, but this just lacked any vibrancy, life, or flavor.
while it was fun to get it, and have the tin, i wouldn't recommend this tea at all unless us want to say u trie...
