For me, this tea has been an acquired taste. Now, however, it is a favorite. Something about it is very calming - now it is my go-to bedtime tea.

The tea is sweet and spicy, and just the tiniest bit heavy.

This tea looks like, smells like, and tastes like kool-aid. It was really bad when I drank it hot, and really bad when I drank it iced (cold brewed.) However, something happened when I made it hot, and then iced it - suddenly it was quite tasty. Still kool-aid like, but now refreshing rather than cloying.

Picture of Darjeeling

Darjeeling from Twinings

Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India

53 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

This tea is fully decent - I'd say it's better than what most of Twinings puts out. That said, it's not a great tea. The smell is blah. The tea tastes great at the first sip, but then lingers with a bit of cardboard. I think a little bit of lemon or mint would fix that though.

This tea smells simply luscious - it's scent has a mossy, earthy quality, with some fruity hints on top. It tastes lovely iced - it starts out with a deep flavor, and then has a sweet aftertaste that lingers a bit. Even though I used a good amount of tea to brew this, the flavor is still light.

This is a quite good tea. (I'm drinking it iced). It smells fantastic, and reminds me a little bit of Earl Gray. This tea is a bit more delicate than most black teas.

47 / 100 Aroma: 2/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

This tea tastes a lot like Lipton. It's an OK, rather generic iced tea, that is perfectly refreshing on a hot day, but is nothing to swoon over.
