↑About Chrysanthemum Tea
Chrysanthemum tea (菊花茶 in Chinese) is an herbal tea made out of chrysanthemum flowers. Chrysanthemum is a genus of many different species of related flowers. The two species usually used in tea are Chrysanthemum morifolium and Chrysanthemum indicum. Not all species of chrysanthemum are usable for tea; some are actually used to make insecticides!
In addition to being used as a tea on its own, chrysanthemum flowers are sometimes blended with pu-erh tea to make chrysanthemum pu-erh.

A robust kind of chrysanthemum tea, love this especially in the autumn and winter season, but is quite good to as an ice tea in the summer. I only use 1.5g of tea per mug, as just a few flowers release already a lot of flavour!

The aroma is a strange yet not unpleasant blend of strawflowers, dill weed, cocoa, fresh flowers, caramel, and raw honey. It is really complex, I found myself sniffing the flowers for quite a while just trying to pick out all the notes and see how they blend together.
