Cinnamon. Does anything smell so good as a freshly made cinnamon roll? No, of course not. Surely the combination of cinnamon with black tea would go equally well, right? Alas, the aroma of the dry leaves smells like, well, a stick of cinnamon. The leaves look fairly generic too -- a typical black tea blend. The aroma coming off a freshly brewed cup smells like, well, cinnamon again. The tea itself tastes like....well, the nice way to say it would be "earthy" but the more accurate word is "dirt" or perhaps the somewhat more nuanced "dust". A generous addition of sugar and milk made it somewhat better. In the end, I could only down a cup and a half.
