The aroma of this tea is a bit mild and slightly floral. The aroma and taste are both delicate and refreshing, and a bit toasty. This Bai Mudan has no bitterness or astringency, and is quite full and smooth, with some subtle sweetness. Much better than supermarket white teas, to be sure. From the first cup, I like this Bai Mudan. Foojoy's Genmaicha and Longjing teas left a similarly good first impression.
