Commercial Description
Rich spices intertwine with a delicious Oolong for a tea that the Maharaja himself would love. This is the famed 'Spice Route' in your cup: cinnamon, ginger, pepper, cloves, cardamom and nutmeg fuse together to create a robust and celebrated chai tea.
Brewing Instructions: (from Teavana)
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 195 degrees (just below boiling) and steep for 3 minutes. For stronger flavor use more tea leaves. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.

I love this tea, especially blended with Teavana's Samurai Chai Mate. You can easily see and smell the spice combination of cloves, cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg. My only issue is that the spices lose their individuality in the liquor and the tea tastes "one note" when it is not blended with another tea. Overall, a fantastic tea, but not quite worth the price.
Tasting notes:
First steep: 1.5tsp/8oz, 200 degrees, 3 minutes.
Second steep: 200 degrees, 3:20 minutes.

This tea is one of my favorites, with soja milk or rice milk or almond milk dont lose the flavor of cinnamon, clove, ginger and pepper.
Very strong to the palate.
