Egyptian Licorice from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Licorice. Licorice, licorice, licorice. This is the strongest of the licorice teas I've tried to date, which I appreciate because I prefer tea that has an assertive--although not necessarily strong--flavor. But I would agree with Alex with respect to the sweetness--this is not a tea that should be consumed with a sweet...

Mayan Cocoa Spice from Yogi Tea
Style: Herbal Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I tend to think of this tea as the weaker little brother of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's "Winter Dream". It is, in a word, decent--but it seems to be a tea that is far more scent than substance. Nonetheless, I think it might be a good tea to serve to people who'd enjoy a tea that's similar to but weaker than Winter Dream, ...

St. John’s Wort Blues Away from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

As usual, I'm not one to believe in the supposed 'medicinal effects' of this tea, but it's one of my favorites for the way it tastes. This is a flavor that lingers, and one which I find interesting enough to hold my attention, but--uniquely--seems to contain no off-putting bite.

Green Tea with Pomegranate from Bigelow Tea
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: ?????67 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5

With more pomegranate than green tea, this is a sweet, fruity blend--excellent to serve to people who hate tea. I find the flavor light and unassertive, producing a drink that is, in a word, consistent: rare to disappoint, but never impressive.

I don't believe in the healing powers of echinacea tea and I don't plan to until I see some peer-reviewed studies confirming it, but this tea nonetheless tastes great and is wonderful for clearing the head.

Throat Coat® from Traditional Medicinals

I'm not one to really believe in the efficacy of herbal remedies, but this tea is something that my parents have always offered to me when I'm sick and at this point, whether or not it actually works it's become a comfort.
That said, I wouldn't drink it if it didn't taste good, and sometimes I brew it for nothing bu...

Winter Dream from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Style: Rooibos / Tea Blend – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Sep. 27th, 2014
I've heard some people say that they think this tea is a bit strong when not made as a latte, but I think it's excellent either way. The smell is wonderful and the tea itself feels like a warm blanket and a crackling fireplace in the middle of a quiet winter's night. Wholeheartedly recommended--but with the addendum ab...
