It's a little unclear from reading the commercial description how this tea is produced. I was expecting this tea to be fruitier and more citrusy than it was, but I was pleasantly surprised. Both the bergamot and citrus presence are balanced, and you really notice the underlying black tea. The aromas blend very well. This is a classic English Breakfast tea. Medium strength, full-bodied, good black tea aroma with some complexity. There's some earthiness and a pleasant hint of floral black tea tones. Moderately bitter and fairly astringent.
