This tea was a bit bitter and too strong for my taste. Regarding Irish bagged teas, I guess I'm a Barry's fan. I suppose I'm in the minority.

This is the only single estate, pure Ceylon that is strong enough to be called a Breakfast tea. Excellent flavor and bold, crisp finish. Brews best with 8 oz hot water for 3 minutes.

PG Tips is really meant to be drunk British style, with an ample dose of milk and some sugar. And if you just walked in from a long walk in a cold December rain, that helps. If you want to drink black tea straight, I would not recommend this tea. But if you want a tea that is strong enough to stand up to a milk and sug...

Very good tea, in the Irish style, with a bit of milk. Personally, I prefer good bagged tea, as the loose leaf is too weak for my taste. Barry's has excellent flavor and a good kick. Lifts the spirits and satisfies the palate. I can recommend a cup without hesitation.

As far as I know, this is the only blend of Assam and Darjeeling. The result is an outstanding flavor, and a wonderful tea, in the Irish style, with a bit of milk.
