One of my favourite green teas. Doesn't go bitter (leave for less than two minutes) and it tastes so smooth and nice. It is my go to tea in Starbucks these days.

I took the dégustation comparée (comparative tasting) of three green teas of a higher quality. This is one of the three I was served.
I got a zhong with dry leaves in it, a small cup, and a thermos of water.
It has beautiful bright green leaves and liqueur, and a bright and sweetish aroma.
First steeping: Vegeta...

This is a very nice tea. The trick is to rein in it's flavor, because it is VERY strong.
I typically brew half the amount of leaf I would normally. Cast iron, 1.5 - 2 minutes. Keep water cooler (75-80*C).
1st steep: Vegetal and grassy with a hint of sweetness and a touch of smokiness. An intense freshness.

The best Starbucks has to offer anyway, my go to tea. A little honey helps to smooth out some of the bitter taste.

Too expensive to buy by the bag ($2.39 plus tax in Starbucks for a Tall) but very good green tea and worth buying a box.
Green but not grassy, light and fresh tasting. Easy to drink hot.

A nice green tea! It has a quality that is both vegetable and not-quite-baked. I'm not entirely sure how to describe this. It tastes similar to teas that I had while in Japan, and which I enjoyed very much there. It seems to have cause a slight tickle in my throat the way that some green teas can. I still need to figur...

The first observation I had of this tea is the wonderful deep and even color of the leaves. The aroma of the dried leaves is very pleasant and slightly vegetal. After steeping, I noticed that the color is very light, but the aroma and taste is more bold than expected, with a strong but still pleasant and smooth taste. ...

The aroma of the tea (which is also known as Clouds and Mist Tea) is a blend of nutty and vegetal, it has a bit of spinach, some toasted sesame, a distinct yet mild roasted peanut note, a sharp note of artichoke, and a finish of raw asparagus. It smells super green, and very fresh, like a pile of vegetables right out o...

This was the first of the new Teavana teas served in a Starbucks that I sampled. I thought it was a delightful tea, a great example of a high-quality Chinese green tea.
Brews a cup with a very pale liquor but a surprisingly strong flavor: flavor is both sweet and bitter, lightly sour, and with a strong savory or um...

Extremely satisfying tea! I really like this one. The dry leaf had a wonderful, unique aroma that made me very excited to try the tea. Once brewed, it has a light herbal/spicy flavor that I find extremely pleasing and that is well balanced with the tea flavor. It's a comforting drink that I could imagine myself drinkin...

A brisk, potent green tea that I found was equally good for morning or afternoon drinking. I can't see everyone liking this, as many Americans seem to prefer milder tasting green teas, but this is my type of tea.

I rather like this tea; it is potent and strong. It reminds me somewhat of Chun Mee yet while being a bit more refined and complex.
Dry leaf, slightly curved and with a dark green color, has a mild aroma, suggestive of sweetness, but upon brewing, the tea is much more bitter, in a pleasant, cooling way.

An unusual tea among Chinese greens, almost reminiscent of some green teas from Darjeeling and elsewhere in the the Himalayan region.
Dark, curled dry leaf with little aroma.
Brewed cup has a dark brownish-green liquor, very clear. Simpson and Vail describes this tea as vegetal, with a fresh spinach aroma, and I...

Another sample from Life in Teacup, this is my kind of tea: a classic Chinese pan-fired green tea wild a bold flavor. This tea looks typical at first, but as I started experimenting with brewing it, I found it had a lot of personality.
After a few trials, I found that I achieved the best results for my tastes by us...
