Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: Blend67 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Not bad for bagged Earl Grey. I added half and half, which mixed well. The flavor was solid without being bitter. Others commented that it IS better, so maybe the half and half I added helped with that?Read Full Review

Pretty good! I got this at a Starbucks and had them add sugar and cream (well, half and half). It worked really well together and provided a nice caffeine jolt. If let steep too long it develops not so much a bitterness as a sharpness, so I'd keep it to only a couple of minutes. The second cup was also solid, though a...Read Full Review

As with all tea bags I've tried from Republic of Tea, I recommend a short steep with this one. Less than a minute works fine. You get plenty of flavor, no bitterness, and a serviceable (though weaker) second cup.Read Full Review
This seemed to be a high quality Earl Grey, but that style of tea isn't my favorite. The tea was definit...

Considering that I'm not often crazy about Earl Grey, I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. I managed to not overbrew it, and so I found it fairly smooth. I can distinctly taste the bergamot, which I like. It's true that it isn't a particularly complex tea, but with a bit of creamer it's a perfectly respectable way t...Read Full Review

Not bad, but not my type of tea. The bergamot flavor is very muted and I do taste some bitterness (even though I tried to prevent this with a relatively short steeping).Read Full Review
For my second cup I added hazelnut creamer and this improved the tea immensely. So if you like a creamy tea, this isn't a bad base, but as a genera...

I wanted to try another Earl Grey to make sure I properly gave that flavor a shot: I'm now more sure that black teas aren't my bag.Read Full Review
I think that someone who actually likes black tea (especially with a slight bitterness) would find this one pleasant. The bergamot and lavender work well together, both as a flavor and ...

Updated Review: I tried this tea again and, this time, i was able to make it so that it was more enjoyable. As long as i don't let it overbrew and I add milk, this is actually quite a delightful tea--invigorating without being bitter.Read Full Review
The bergamot tastes natural, but I'd like a more robust citrus flavor. Last time I...

This was my first time tasting an Earl Grey tea. I definitely appreciated the bergamot orange balancing out the black tea flavor a bit, though it still wasn't enough for me to outright enjoy this tea. On its own, it was still too tanniny, or something (bitter isn't quite the right word). With food (I had fried eggs) it...Read Full Review
