appearance: lives up to the name. dull green leaves covered with fine, silvery hairs.
post-brew: plump, meaty-looking pale green leaves that retain a half-fold [stem-wise].
a pretty tea.
this is a legitimate white tea. the liquor has a pale yellow-green color. virtually no bitterness even with extended brewing time. aroma is predominantly vegetal with some sweetness. light, refreshing taste; somewhat vegetal [but not overpowering]. no fruity notes discerned.
