About Ronnefeldt

Ronnefeldt is a German tea company, founded in 1823 in Frankfurt, by Johann Tobias Ronnefeldt. Ronnefeldt sells both loose-leaf tea and tea bags. Ronnefeldt's teas are best known for being served in hotels and restaurants.

Although Ronnefeldt does have a Canadian presence, in the U.S., Ronnefeldt teas are not easily available for direct purchase, but in Europe they are more readily available.

Verbena

Style: Lemon Verbena – Region: ?????
Jun. 7th, 2013

I love lemon verbena...this was pleasant, but pales in comparison to the whole-leaf herb or even broken-leaf variants.

Brews a light orange infusion. Above average among the totality of herbal blends and teas that I've sampled from Ronnefeldt, but I did not like it as much as their straight black teas.

Complex and balanced. Aroma grassy, minty; the minty tones are almost bet...

Camomile

Style: Chamomile Blend – Region: ?????
Oct. 24th, 2011

This chamomile was actually a little bit unusual or atypical. It was full-bodied and rich, but a little bland, and had an unusually smooth flavor. There was less fruitiness, less of the hay or straw-like aroma, less of the lacy floral quality, and less of the muted bitter aftertaste that characterizes chamomile tea i...
