I found this expired tea tin, never opened and safely sealed, in a small import store when I was home over break. Knowing how well Assam teas can keep, I was curious to try it, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this tea much more aromatic than I would expect for something harvested around 4 years ago.

Another tea that I found too astringent to enjoy, no matter how I brewed it. I'm finding that about most of these summer-harvest Assam greens and even some of the spring ones. Thank you to TEAORB for the samples, this is an interesting experience even if I don't like all the teas.

A mellow, earthy tea that was comforting like wrapping up in an old blanket, and reminded me of dark white teas. Drinking this it almost seems to take me back in time. I am loving sampling the black teas from TEAORB; they sent me a bunch of samples and I have been enjoying the black teas more than the greens.
