Lapsang Souchong
|
Commercial Description
Mature tea leaves from Fujian province are smoked over pine wood fires, giving Lapsang Souchong its assertive yet smooth flavor. Lower in caffeine than other black teas, this full-flavored tea is excellent both in the morning or later in the day.

Sorry - I just don't care for Lapsang Souchang (smoked) teas in general - and Ito En's is no exception - but that said - if you like smokey back teas with a strong aroma and a full-body when brewed (best served hot - it's just not an "icing" tea) - give Ito En's a try.
