About Camellia Sinensis Tea House

Camellia Sinensis Tea House is a tea company located in Montreal. The company has three storefronts, in Montreal and Quebec City, and also sells loose-leaf tea online; their website is available both in English and French.

Camellia Sinensis Tea House is one of the leaders among small tea companies in terms of research on caffeine and antioxidant content of their teas. They funded a study of their own teas and published the results on their page on tea and health. This study, very uncommon for such a small company to conduct, was valuable as a reference on the caffeine content of various teas, and we featured them and used this study as a source in our article on the caffeine content of tea.

Wiry green leaves. Prepared 7.7 g in 18 oz boiled water; brewed for 4 min. Added 3.5 oz ice. Net 2.9 g per 8 oz. Nice flavor - like a green tea, but with extra flavor notes. The tea liquor was yellow with a slight orange tinge.
My Pratt Tea Dictionary says that Bao Zhong is a very lightly oxidized wulong.

I steeped 2.5g at 190F for 3 minutes. This tea is known for being mild in flavour yet even with this s...
