↑About Republic of Tea
The Republic of Tea is a tea company. Previously, the company did not advertise through conventional means, but instead gained visibility through a number of books authored by its COO, Stuart Avery Gold.[1] Now, the company uses conventional advertisements as well. The company sells black, white, and green teas, as well as a few herbal teas, and sells teas both loose and in teabags. It also sells a few tea accessories.
The Republic of Tea sells teas directly through its website, although its teas are also available in some restaurants, coffee shops, and retail stores. Panera Bread is among the restaurants carrying The Republic of Tea's teas.
The Republic of Tea also owns the brand and company Rare Tea Republic, which specializes in unusual loose-leaf teas from the Himalayan Region.[2]
The Republic of Tea is a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership.

Once again, "value" per amount of product hurts a Republic of Tea tea. I got this as a roughly 1/4-cup free sample near the front of a World Market. Free is great, free is fun! I saw the shelf price, and had to run.

Republic teas usually are on the costly side; however, I grabbed this one on sale at a Dallas Whole Foods. "Value" is based on the normal prices for other Republic teas (retailing upwards of 8-10 bucks for 50-pouch columnar steel tins), and how this tea doesn't pack the punch it should for reputably strong flavors of ...

Flavor - again, they hit what they are going for. Tastes like a warm apple cider. I would bet many a holiday had this with something added “for festive” fun. I’m curious to try this iced in the future.

Prep: double teabag, 12 oz, hot.
Aroma: this is a spice-driven tea. It’s hard to get past the cinnamon and nutmeg. I think there is an apple note but it’s way behind the spice assault.
Flavor: The flavor, ironically, is all about the apple with a mild cinnamon spice. There may be some cranberry notes trying ...
This is my favorite of Republic’s chocolate line. The red velvet taste is distinguishable. It is a very good tea. I would like something with a bit stronger of a chocolate taste. I find that the rooibos tends to come out more, but then again perhaps that is because I oversteep this one.
