Purchased in the Eilles store in Regensburg, on my recent trip to Germany. I really enjoy this tea; it's a potent black tea blend, but with a very different character from Assam-based Irish breakfast blends. I drunk it unsweetened and with no milk.

This tea was great! I loved how roasty it was and how it didn't have a bitter taste to it. This was a good tea for my first German tea experience. Yum. :)

Flavor is a bit dull: not much bite or kick, but a heavy, bitter aftertaste. Malty for a Ceylon. If I had to guess, I would probably have guessed that this was an Assam rather than a Ceylon. However, it wasn't particularly exciting as either.
