This actually tastes like Darjeeling: the fruity, woody notes are similar to the loose leaf Darjeeling teas I've had, and it even has that smooth muscatel flavor (or at least the flavor I taste in most Darjeeling tea that I associate with the word "muscatel"). A very good, easy going black tea. Not a very noticeable aroma, either in the bag or steeped, but still there and akin to most black teas with a fruity hint. Taken with a decent amount of sugar, it was still easy to discern a sweetness to the tea without any bite and mild astringency.

I really enjoyed this tea! I found it's aroma and taste to both be floral, light, and a bit sweet. As someone who usually sticks to english breakfast or earl grey, I found this delicate flavor refreshing. I drank it with milk, but I think it would have been perfect with a touch of honey. I think I've found my breakfast tea, or in any case a certain kind of breakfast tea for a certain kind of mood. I think I've mentioned in other reviews that I tend to like my breakfast teas sweet, strong, and milky: my taste buds aren't so good at subtlety early in the morning.

This tea is pretty good. It's smooth. I added cream and sugar. I found it confusing that it was listed as a sachet when it's really a teabag.

Brews a very dark color, but flavor is surprisingly light (although still stronger than most light-colored teas). Tastes a lot more like high-grown Ceylon tea than like most Assam.

This doesn't taste much like Earl Grey. I think the bitterness of the tea dominates the flavor. I don't like it much. I added cream and sugar.

I liked this tea. I thought it was pretty typical for a black tea, but sometimes that is all I need. It had a subtle flavor and the texture was really smooth. The price seems pretty reasonable to me. This is the first time I had Hampstead Tea, and after having this tea, I would buy from them again.

I fell in love with Hampstead tea's loose-leaf Darjeeling some time ago, and it was not before picking up some samples at World Tea East this year that I had an opportunity to try any of their tea bags.
