I wasn't very impressed by this tea. It was a fruity and a little sour with a very sweet aroma. The hibiscus is very evident. Blackberry leaves is an interesting addition--not sure if I've seen this in other teas before.

Orange & Spice Herbal Tea from Bigelow Tea

Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????

67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5
Jul. 25th, 2013

I enjoyed this tea. It is not incredibly tart or spicy, nor is it sweet. The first ingredient is rose hips. As a lover of chai and spiced teas, I would prefer a bolder flavor, and wouldn't go out of my way to get this one. However, it was certainly enjoyable and refreshing at the end of a summer day.

Nilgiri Select Black Tea from Wegmans

Style: Black Tea – Region: Nilgiri, India

63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

This is a standard black tea; it is mild, and not very complex. I let it sit for a good six minutes, and it still did not taste bitter or astringent. I think I would have preferred a richer tasting tea, but I still appreciate the quality of this one.

This tea is very light and a bit floral. It tastes a bit like a watered down green tea. It is definitely not bitter, and not very sour or really even sweet. It is not at all astringent.

It when brewed for about 2 minutes, it produced a pale amber color. I brewed it a second time, for much longer, and it was a littl...

This was my first time trying roasted green tea. It is definitely a unique aroma and flavor. It is smokey and rich, crisp and savory. It reminded me a bit of coffee.

This is the kind of tea I would like to come home to on a cold winter day. I will be back for more!

Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India

93 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5

I really enjoyed this tea! I found it's aroma and taste to both be floral, light, and a bit sweet. As someone who usually sticks to english breakfast or earl grey, I found this delicate flavor refreshing. I drank it with milk, but I think it would have been perfect with a touch of honey. I even steeped it slightly long...

Style: Mao Feng Green Tea – Region: Zhejiang, China

87 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

This tea has a light, clean, mellow taste. I'm not sure I would call it sweet, but it is definitely not bitter either.

The leaves are long and thin with a vegetal aroma that produces a light yellow color. Steeped at 194F for about 2 minutes, this tea has a very pleasing taste!

I found this tea to be more bitter than most green teas with somewhat of a nutty flavor, with an aroma that matched. I steeped it for about 2 minutes--maybe it was a little too long.

This tea is mild and almost a little sweet, with some cucumber notes. Someone who is new to tea or expanding their tastes might find this tea easy to drink with no added sugar. I brewed it as directed, for about 2 minutes, and was satisfied with the results. I am not very familiar with white teas, but I enjoyed this on...

Unlike many green teas, Jade Cloud did not taste bitter to me. It was smooth and refreshing, with sharp, citrus, and grassy qualities.I had a tea bag sample version, and made it according to the instructions. It tasted more sour/sharp as it cooled, and was good for a second steeping. I generally enjoyed this tea, but pr...
