Wild Berry Hibiscus from Mighty Leaf Tea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend67 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 22nd, 2017
Served at De La Coeur Cafe in Wilmington, DE (I love that place by the way, please do check it out if you're ever there).
I normally don't like hibiscus blends (think Celestial Seasonings' Red Zinger) because they are too sour for me, but I enjoyed this one. I brewed it in a big fat mug and only steeped it around 3...
Beach Bellini from Teavana
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

I really enjoyed this one! It was a gift from my roommate, so thank you!
The dried fruits in this blend were intensely aromatic, just opening the bag resulted in an explosion of aroma, mostly tropical fruit with hints of citrus, the smell strongly suggests sweetness, and there's a hint of spice in the aroma. The in...
Fruit Medley (Fruit Sangria) from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

A fruity blend with strawberry as the dominant aroma. I normally don't like these blends, but I thought this one pretty exceptional. The dry leaf didn't impress me, but once it was brewed up, it was a pleasure to drink, and wonderfully aromatic.
Just like I'd expect, produces a rich, deep red color, less purplish ...
Berry Cabernet (Formerly Berry Cocktail) from Octavia Tea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend50 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5

This struck me as a rather typical fruity / berry blend. The flavor was natural: slightly tart but not too much so. The color is a rich brownish red, not so purplish as a lot of hibiscus-dominated blends.
I've tasted pure schizandra berries before, but I can only slightly detect their distinctive peppery aroma.

Pomegranate & Raspberry from Twinings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend53 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

I enjoyed this blend much more than I thought I would, and much more than typical for a fruity herbal blend in a tea bag. It's very light and pleasant.
Brews a cup with a pale pink color and a very fruity aroma that I find cloying.
In spite of the off-putting aroma, the flavor is much more subdued and pleasant, ...
Persian Pomegranate Herbal Tea from Novus Tea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????47 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5

I don't like these sour fruit teas, and this one is no exception. I do, however, prefer it slightly to the Wild Encounter Herb Tea (berry flavored) from Novus.
Although rather similar to Wild Encounter, this one is slightly less sour, and more sweet. Surprisingly sweet, naturally, without adding any sugar. Aroma ...
Strictly Strawberry from SerendipiTea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Intensely fruity, very strong strawberry aroma. Tangy but not overwhelmingly so. This blend does contain hibiscus, presumably to make it sour and impart a red color, and I find some of these fruit blends overdo it on the hibiscus, but the amount in this one is good.
This is not my favorite style of herbal tea, but...
Red Berries from Ronnefeldt
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Blend37 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Sep. 21st, 2011
My overall impression of this tea was that it was relatively unobtrusive, almost bordering on bland. It was slightly too sour for my tastes, but I find berry-flavored herbal teas usually are way too sour, so relative to other similar offerings on the market, this wasn't too bad.
There's a slight hint of an artifici...
Schizandra Berries from Rishi Tea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: Heilongjiang, China53 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5

These berries produce an almost transparent infusion: I can hardly tell that I have infused anything at all by looking at it. But the cup is strongly aromatic and the flavor is intense.
Rishi describes these berries as producing a "very tart" infusion. It is tart, and I want to point out that I often find drinks l...
Country Peach Passion® Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????53 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Oct. 22nd, 2010
This is my favorite fruity tea from Celestial Seasonings; most of them are too sour for me. It has an intoxicating peach aroma, which might strike one as a bit artificial except that it is backed up with the depth of other herbs, giving this blend a full body and a balanced character.
One thing I like about this bl...
Red Raspberry Herbal Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????27 / 100 Aroma: 2/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Jul. 13th, 2010
Brews a very deep puplish red color, just like a ripe red raspberry. Aroma is artificial and fruity, candy-like. More like a raspberry-flavored life saver candy than tea. Slightly sweet, even without adding anything. Thankfully, not too sour, even with the main ingredient hibiscus. This is much milder than pure hi...

Strange and unusual; not overwhelmingly fruity, and very rich and full-bodied. A yeasty quality in the aroma, reminiscent of beer or bread. Thankfully, not too sour. I'm still not sure how much I like it, but it's different from any other fruit herbal tea I've tried so far...people who want something richer than the...

True to the name, the aroma of orange and spice--is it cloves I notice? Thankfully, not much cinnamon, and not too sour. This is not my favorite of the Bigelow herbal teas but it is among the ones I prefer.
In many respects this tea is like an herbal version of Constant Comment. The main difference is that this b...
I Love Lemon® & C Herbal Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????37 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5

Very lemoney. A bit too sour but I'm thankful it's not more so. A few other things going on in the aroma but it's still mostly lemon. Not my favorite choice of herbal tea but perfectly drinkable.

I normally am not a fan of sour teas but I like this one...it's tart but not too much so. It's also pleasantly bitter and very aromatic. I agree with Anne's comments that this cuts through sweet and heavier foods. Oddly refreshing!

This tea is on the margins of Celestial Seasoning teas that I enjoy...it has too much cinnamon for my taste; I think the clove blends much better with the orange than the cinnamon does. It's also a tad too sour for my tastes...although again it's just a bit out of my comfort zone. This is one of those teas that I wil...
