If you like a strong black tea then this one is for you. This tea has the smell of a traditional Assam with a hint of a fruity undertone that you just can't put your finger on. The steeped liquor is a beautiful amber color. This tea is full bodied, strong, malty, astringent, and very tannic. This tea lingers in your mo...

This is a nice traditional black tea. It tastes a lot like your standard black tea from a tea bag, but better. I will first start off by saying that this tea is well over priced at Teavana. I can buy the same quality Ti Kuan Yin elsewhere for around $4.00-$4.50 per ounce. This herbal tea has a lovely fragrance while steeping. It fills the room with a sweet fruity scent that lingers. Once it hits your mouth you are hit with the traditionally "herbaly" taste mixed with tangy strawberry. In the finish you get the "rooibos" taste mixed with lemon and blueberry. The blueberry tastes more lik...

This is a top level black tea, but it can fool you. If you are looking for a bold, strong, malty black tea then this one is not for you. This tea is smooth and delicate. It is very low in tannin. While there is a pretty strong aroma when brewing it doesn't translate into the finished product.
