One of my kids gave me this for Christmas, having bought it at an Asian food store for an unknown price, so I'm basing the value rating off the mostly reasonable online costs for a 120g tin. The packaging of this tea confused me a bit at first, as it was branded just like one of the same title on RateTea, but in a tin...

This was a peculiar yet pleasant jasmine-tea experience, stem to stern. The jasmine scent in both the dry bag and steeped cup were stronger than the tea, and than it asserted in the flavor. Instead, the flavor overall is very well-balanced between jasmine and tea. That's good, because the green tea tastes like a ver...

I've only tried and reviewed a few jasmine greens so far, but Yamamotoyama's is the first whose jasmine aroma (dry bag and wet cup) clearly stood as vastly stronger than the flavor. The jasmine taste was detectable, no mistaking it, but couldn't deliver on the promise made by the smell. The aroma took me back to warm...

My bag of Numi's Jasmine Green came in an assortment box that was priced unusually high (almost 6 bucks at Wal Mart!). The box only contains 16 bags, which leaves the consumer feeling rather taken advantage of, especially at such a cost. Nevertheless, it's a fair and true counterargument if you holler at me, "Look, b...

This is a reasonably good green tea, but the jasmine is about the weakest I've smelled or tasted in anything advertised as a "Jasmine" tea. Jasmine seems to be an afterthought or distant background in both the smell and the taste. I won't recommend against this product if you do prefer just a *hint* of jasmine in an ...

Remarkably for its rather weak aroma, the flavor of the tea is reasonably robust after several minutes of steeping. I found this tea offered in the daily coffee-break session of a professional conference, and liked it. Not many others did, so there were plenty of leftover bags to grab and bring home. :-) I agree wi...

Wow, where to start...this "tea" is not, in any shape or form, worthy of a brand of such tradition and repute. A friend sold me a box he brought back from jolly ol' England, and after drinking just one bag's worth, I wanted to bust him in his jolly ol' mouth. Fortunately for him, I tried three more bags (in one cup, ...

Admittedly I've only tried two jasmine green teas so far--Twinings and Trader Joe's, and I thought Twinings was beyond lame. So I may be too jaded by a crappy experience with another brand. That said...
By comparison, TJ's is much more flavorful and "jasminy", but it could be far stronger still both for the base t...
