I can pick up notes of roses, grass, licorice, bay, tulsi, mysterious sharp spices, pepper, anise, fennel, so many layers and herbs! It is a plethora of plant and spice notes that manage to not be a cacophony or smell like a nasty medicinal brew, which is always a good sign.
The taste of this tea can be summed up i...
Minecraft Slime from Adagio Teas

The aroma is a quirky blend of lime jello, growing green things, and wet stone, name aside, this smells exactly like I imagine a Slime bouncing around in a cave would smell...wet and citrus with hints of green! The smell makes me giggle, it makes my nose tingle like sniffing a fizzy soda, it is a little weird but fun.

So from the aroma, all I am getting is mint and marshmallow, it is very sweet and the mint clears my sinuses, wintry indeed! I can certainly see snow being represented by the cleanness of mint and the gentle sweetness of marshmallow, but I wonder where the aroma of the Gyokuro is?
This tea is hard to describe, and i...

The aroma of this tea is pretty potently citrus, lots and lots of lemon! Luckily it is not a fake lemon aroma, it smells much like I just stuck my nose inside a crate full of fresh lemons along with the aroma of crushed lemon leaves. There is just a tiny hint of herbal notes and a delicate note of vegetation.
The ta...

The aroma of the dry leaves (and fruity bits) is quite delicious, it has that tart sweet smell of fresh raspberries and pomegranates with a slight hint of rose hips and a gentle finishing note of slightly grassy green. It has a very fresh scent, reminding me of late spring.
Oooh, the taste is so mellow, which is qui...

The aroma of the leaves is quite fruity, blending cherries and papayas with floral notes of jasmine and roses. It does not really evoke spring to Japan to me, it evokes summer in a more tropical climate to me.
The taste is very mild and subtle, it starts out floral and sweet with faint notes of roses and jasmine w...

The aroma of this tea is a nice blend of cherries and roses with just a gentle touch of the green base. It is very much the green of fresh vegetation, like the leaves of a rose bush or cherry tree. Sweet and summery, this tea evokes gardens in full bloom.
The taste is, well, light and uninspiring, which is a surpris...

The aroma is exactly what you expect from a Genmaicha, if you have never had the pleasure of sniffing one, the notes are a blend of roasted rice, a touch of honey sweetness, a bit of freshly mown grass and hay, and just a touch of fresh vegetation. It is a delightful blend of green tea and popped rice, the aroma is one...

The aroma of the dry leaves is pretty intense, very strong anise aroma with touches of honey, yeasty bread, green stems, and just the faintest hint of pepper. It is strange to call such a spicy aroma heady, but it is like sniffing a spicy flower.
The first steep starts off quite sweet and rich, like honey drizzled y...

The aroma is primarily a blend of sweet oranges and sour lemon with a nice artichoke finish. The aroma of citrus always puts me in a good mood, it is like sunshine on a cold day, I smell it and I cannot help but smile.
The taste is both light and bright, it quenches the thirst and brings a feeling of happiness. A gr...

The blend of herbs is a blend of savory and faintly sweet with sharp notes of mint. The mint and basil are the most prominent notes with a finish of coriander and fennel.

The aroma is vegetal and peachy, mixing corn, vegetation, and peas. It certainly smells like a garden! The brewed leaves smell like spinach, peas and corn with a faint hint of peaches, it is a little odd.
The taste is surprisingly good, like really surprising for a tea made out of peas and corn. Imagine drinking ve...

The aroma is a lovely blend of nuttiness, vegetal and sweet. The brewed leaves have a toasted quality along with a blend of green beans and a hint of citrus. All the scents are subtle and balanced.

The aroma of this tea is intense, so much so it made me sneeze. Lots of heat and spice with a hint of smoke. The brewed tea brings more vegetal aroma with the spice and the liquid without the leaves is smooth, vegetal and spicy with a hint of smokiness.
The taste is intense, starting off sweetly vegetal with the mi...

The aroma is very sweet, lots of almond and cherry goodness, sadly no aroma of tea sneaks through. Once steeped you can smell a bit of a leafy green tea aroma along with the now mellowed out cherry and almond.
The taste is mellow and smooth. Not very sweet (unlike the aroma) and a nice blend of almond and cherry. It...

Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Japan93 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5

The aroma on this tea is very much what it says on the bag, caramel and matcha. Super sweet and a little decadent.
Drinking it cold is delicious, very smooth and creamy. The matcha flavors are prominent and the caramel tastes more like caramelized sugar than candy.
When it is warm the flavors become creamier an...

Marshmallow steals the show! Not necessarily the candy sweet but the sweetness of marshmallow root. There are also vegetal notes and a bit of mint. Once steeped the leaves have more mint and the marshmallow sweetness becomes more light, replaced with more vegetal.
The flavor is sweet and minty. Very mild and subtle...
Lavender Sencha Green Tea from Wegmans
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Japan73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

The aroma of lavender overpowers the aroma of the sencha with the fresh leaves, it is sad but I love the smell of lavender and am a sucker for anything lavender flavored.
The brewed tea has more of the bright green aroma of the sencha which blends well with the lavender. The color is also a really lovely light gree...

This is a very complex and unusual tea, luckily not in a bad way. Introduced to me as having 'an acquired taste' I can certainly agree.
The aroma is a great mix of spicy ginger and earthy turmeric that just floods your olfactory glands with a punch of spice. It is intense!

The first thing you notice is the almost overwhelming aroma of cherries when you open the bag, not bad but very strong. After a brew you still get the aroma and a delicate taste of cherries and a mild green tea. A very smooth tea evoking spring time. I found this tea was best straight with no sugar or cream since it is...

This was the first Genmai Cha that I ever had years ago, so it has a real nostalgia value even though I have had better it is still a favorite. The aroma is really mild and slightly nutty and you get more rice than tea. The tea is also really mild but the longer you steep the tea the more the flavor bursts out, luckily...
