As with their other product that I have reviewed (Bombay Masala Chai), the concept is great, but the execution is lame. The sachets only contain around 1/5 their volume of dry product, which (as can be expected with rooibos) doesn't expand very much when wet, leaving the wet bags still 1/4 full or less. My boss drinks this at work and while it smells like Christmas - I can't deal with this type of tea. It is caffeine free and brews up in about 3-4 minutes. Mid-priced. Affordable. Not my fave. So. Much. Cassia bark.

I actually tried the loose version of this tea rather than the sachet, but the product page is the same as linked here.
I enjoyed this! I got two good steeps out of it. It has a nice, smooth feeling. It’s definitely a nice flavored rooibos.
Bonus: My son also loved the sunflower on the packaging.

This is my favorite of Republic’s chocolate line. The red velvet taste is distinguishable. It is a very good tea. I would like something with a bit stronger of a chocolate taste. I find that the rooibos tends to come out more, but then again perhaps that is because I oversteep this one.
