Darjeeling Estate Organic Black Tea from Wegmans
Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India56 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5
Jan. 21st, 2019
Kind of expensive - and it is NOT a first flush (light/sweet) Darjeeling - but it is good. Not a holy grail but a decent variety for Darjeeling - and I love Wegman's, so there's that. Twinings bagged Darjeeling (likely Autumnal Flush) is darker but smoother. This one (Wegman's Darjeeling) comes loose and brews up fu...

Cheap Darjeeling? How is this possible? I am a first flush Darjeeling kinda gal and Twinings actual makes a (definitely not first flush, but good enough)bagged Darjeeling that is CHEAP and easy to find. AI can't even believe my office is stocking this - and a also Irish and English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Orange & Spi...

Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India65 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Apr. 2nd, 2017
Was offered NOVUS teas (by Bigeow) at a restaurant - comes in a silky sachet, wrapped in a sealed pouch. Very fresh tasting and deep, dark (much darker than other Darjeelings I have had) and steeped up quickly. I got 2 infusions from the bag in a large pot of water.
I am a Darjeeling drinker, so I was fine with ...
Republic Darjeeling from Republic of Tea
Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5

I LOVE Darjeeling - and next to a jasmine green, a darjeeling is the PERFECT cup for me - especially in the AM. That said, Republic's loose version is a terrific value. Can't guarantee that it is first flush - but it is a very good value and I enjoy this one and have purchased it twice ($13 for a tin). Now comes in ...

With Tea Forte you are paying for cutesy packaging - and these are terrific for gift giving - hostess gifts, bridal showers etc. The tea itself is usually good but not mind blowing and their "estate" darjeeling is good. Very nice, actually, and I am a BIG darjeeling fan (The first flush from Republic of tea is terrif...

Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, India67 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

I like Harney & Sons and I like some of their Darjeeling (loose and bagged) and this one is no exception. Inexpensive (Moderately priced) and easy to brew in bag form. Relatively mild (benign) and can stand with a longer steeping time. I love Darjeeling so this is a good portable option.

I really enjoyed this bagged version of Darjeeling - and I am a Darjeeling lover. This one is not nearly as bitter as some, and really fresh smelling and tasting for a bagged tea. Took a solid 3-4 minutes to steep - so give it some time and enjoy. I did add sweetener to it - but you certainly don't need to. Very tr...

I love Darjeeling - and the "first flush" is expensive as heck. Adagio s a reliable source - but Republic of Tea also has a good one. (Loose only).Caffeinated and great in the morning.

I love Darjeeling - and the good stuff (first flush) is pricey - so I tried a box of this (cheap!) but you get what you pay for. Very ordinary - but the bags make it portble and it's better than the Lipton swill my office provides.
