This tea has a lovely floral and slightly bready taste and aroma that I really love! It has no issues with astringency and it is only slightly bitter, but in a good way. It’s medium bodied and overall a very decent cup of tea!

This tea seems decent. The aroma is musky and somewhat smoky. It tastes a bit bitter, and similar to other cheap black teas. I wouldn't choose it over other black teas, but I wouldn't mind drinking more of it. I added cream and sugar.

I was really impressed by the quality of this tea. It is among the best finely-broken CTC teas that I've tried. It reminded me quite a lot of the Fahari Ya Kenya Tea, although I think I preferred that tea slightly to this one.

I usually drink PG Tips. Chai Bora Black tea has it over the other by far. I was in Africa and drank the Chai Bora and loved it. It makes a good strong cup of tea without the bitterness of some. If you can find it buy it. I have run out and wish I had bought more while I was in Africa.

Very fine fannings; dry leaf has little aroma.
Upton recommends 1-3 minutes, I prefer steeping only 30-45 seconds, and using a bit more leaf than recommended, as it brings out the interesting qualities of the aroma while keeping the tea smoother and milder.

This was an interesting change of pace, and one of the most unusual black teas I've tried to date. But unlike some unusual teas, this tea was not just different, it was different in a way that I especially enjoyed.

I was pleasantly surprised with this teabag; it's just fannings/dust and doesn't look like much, but even the dry teabag is pleasantly aromatic.
