Green Tea With Lemon Myrtle from Pure Tea Selection
Style: Green Tea with Lemon – Region: Blend77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Oct. 26th, 2014
The third tea I had the pleasure of trying with the otherworldly breakfast served in the Hotel Alt-Görlitz in Görlitz, Germany. Very good, and an artful blend that was perfectly balanced.
The ingredient list not only shows that this contains only green tea and lemon myrtle, but lists that lemon myrtle is 20% of t...
Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea from TeaVivre
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Fujian, China80 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 3rd, 2014
Wow. An excellent flavored tea for once!
I was intrigued to try this tea, in large part because TeaVivre tends to focus on traditional unflavored teas.
The leaf has a strong aroma of peach, and I notice little else, neither jasmine nor the base tea, but the peach smells rich and natural, like dried peaches rathe...
Blueberry Green Tea from Republic of Tea
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend40 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 1/5

I must preface this review by noting that I tend not to like blueberry-flavored anything. Why am I trying this then? I like trying new things, and I periodically like trying things that I'm expecting not to like, because sometimes I am surprised.
With this one, I wasn't surprised.
The tea bag (and brewed cup) h...
Apple Meadow (Formerly Green Apple) from Bare Tea
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: China60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Mar. 22nd, 2014
An impressive tea--not the sort of blend that I tend to ever like, and I found this quite pleasant.
I found it really interesting that Bare Tea released an apple-flavored tea, since I thought their masala chai actually had an uncanny apple flavor to it. This tea does remind me a bit of that one.
I tend not to li...
Blueberry Brilliance (Blueberry Green Tea) from Ahmad Tea
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend53 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Sep. 27th, 2013
This is not the sort of tea I would normally enjoy, but given how much I love Ahmad tea, I was really curious and had to try it, and was surprised that I like it a lot more than similar berry-flavored green teas.
It really does smell like blueberries, which I actually didn't like. I love blueberries but I don't par...
Blueberry Green from Octavia Tea
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend47 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5

Warning: this flavored tea is noticeably sweetened with Stevia.
Served in Velvet Sky Bakery in Jenkintown. This tea was completely unlike what I was expecting it to be like! In some ways I liked it better than I expected but in other ways I disliked it.
It brews up a deep purple color with a slight grayish ting...
Citron Green from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: China77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Nov. 7th, 2012
This tea impressed me, and I'll say it is not only the only citrus-flavored green tea that I have really enjoyed, but it is also my favorite flavored tea from Adagio yet!
The dry leaf has a strong aroma of lime and citronella, but upon brewing, the citrus aroma is more subdued.
The aroma has a pleasing, grassy an...
Tangerine Iced Tea from Summer Breeze
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend63 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 23rd, 2010
I had this in Saxby's coffee shop. It is not bad. In contrast to most citrus-flavored teas, the fruit is not overdone, and this tea has a bold green tea presence. I'm not sure what tea is used as the base tea, but it seems to resemble sencha, bancha or other steamed tea more than a Chinese pan-fire tea: the aroma ha...

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend30 / 100 Aroma: 2/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5

Aroma is intense and fruity, but muddled. I find that the jasmine doesn't blend well with the other aromas. The green tea is noticeable in this blend--but I'm not crazy of their choice of green tea to blend with the other ingredients. This tea is on the acidic side; it's bold flavor doesn't mesh well with the aroma....

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: China27 / 100 Aroma: 2/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 1/5

Aroma mostly of orange peel, overwhelming the green tea. The orange in the aroma is not particularly fruity, and has a dry quality to it. Although the tea presence is weak, I find that it blends well with the orange, but produces a tea that has an imbalanced aroma, coming across more like a cleaning solution than a t...

Style: Green Tea with Lemon – Region: ?????40 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 3/5

Tangy, lemony, almost peppery...more like lemon peel than other forms of lemon. Some tea presence but the tea is overpowered by the lemon.

Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Blend57 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

Aroma sweet-suggesting, slightly fruity but not overly so. The tea and berries seem to blend very well, and in spite of the addition of "natural tropical flavors" this doesn't have a particularly artificial taste. Smooth but tangy. A lot of dust gets through the teabag and sinks to the bottom of the cup, but this do...
