Cheap Darjeeling? How is this possible? I am a first flush Darjeeling kinda gal and Twinings actual makes a (definitely not first flush, but good enough)bagged Darjeeling that is CHEAP and easy to find. AI can't even believe my office is stocking this - and a also Irish and English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Orange & Spi...

Twinings is a very afforadle and accessible brand of bagged teas - and if you like a classic Earl Grey (Bergamot flavor), and if you happen to like lavendar - the aroma of this tea is very nice. I would rather sniff it than drink it! I tried it hot with no dairy (ick) and no sweetener but a tad bit of honey might be ...

Not great - not undrinkable and still a better choice (for me, anyway) than the standar issues Lipton Black that our office provides.
No caffeine, no complexity, no color - I steeped it over 4 minutes, only a plae green and a few whiffs of grassy/vegetal notes.
I confess, I added sweetener - I just needed a hot ...

Had a teabag stashed in my work bag - and lo and behold it was Twinings Green tea - not even sure where I got it from - not from home - likely from an office or an event I had been to
So I was hankerin' for something OTHER that the Lipton "Wake dat a$$ up" black tea in the office so i brewed up the Twinings Green. ...
English Breakfast Decaffeinated from Twinings

Meh. It's OK - and as Alex indicated it tastes much differently that the (also "Meh") caffeinated version. I get these in my office for free and only drink it when my own "personal stash" of "good tea" has been depleted. Twinings is inexpensive and easy to find.
This is a black tea with a bit of acidity to it. I...
Lady Grey from Twinings
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Blend63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I HATE Earl Grey - and Twinings is no exception - but Lady Grey I can somehow tolerate. Maybe it's the lemon mixed with the bergamot? Anyhow this one smells way better than it tastes and you do NOT want to add milk to it. I had it both with and without Splenda to see what it would be like. Meh.

I have no issues with this STRONG black tea - that stands up well to sweetener and/or milk (I never put milk nor cream in tea but if you do this is a good one). Traditional and smooth-tasting and brews up DARK in seconds. You can easily get 2-3 infusions from a bag. Inexpensive and available at supermarkets. Not a ...

I loathe orange & spice teas - so i may not be the best person to review this and I am shocked that I even had more than a few sips of this. Blarg! Smells great - but the taste is like drinking perfume. Not for me.

I actually enjoyed the first & second infusion of the teabag I brewed out of sheer desperation. Maybe it was because I was sick, maybe it was the 2 packets of Splenda I added (no honey to be found) and maybe it was because a hot cup of ANYTHING would have helped, but I rather liked the Twinings. Not a holy grail, but...

I just don't care for smoked teas (lapsang souchong) and this one had an almost cigarett-y/tarry scent to it (more of an aroma than a taste - thank goodness). Just not my bag at all! And terrible iced. Barely tolerable hot.
What possessed me to try this? I should know better by now. At least it was free (had thi...
Earl Grey from Twinings
Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: ?????53 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5

I can't stand Earl Grey - and yet I have tried many of them. Sometimes I try when I am at a convention or hotel or in an office or deli that carries Twinings. In this case they were all out of the other kids of teas and it was this or coffee - so I gave it a go (hot with a bit of splenda). Not as good as some I've t...

Yech! I am not an Earl Grey fan to begin with and this one not only has synthetic Bergamot notes (Think limonene from a lab!) it is also decaf and not worth drinking. Sorry, Twinings, but this bagged tea is not my fave at all! Stash makes a better one - but I hate that, too.
Earl Grey - it's just not my bag!
