Tropical Green Tea from Revolution Tea
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: ?????64 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Here was the last in a series of Revolution teas I've finished from a variety pack, and it was slightly above average, overall. The aromas and flavors are quite similar, across-the-board, from dry bag to cup to wet bag. The aroma is a good bit weaker than the taste, however.
The green teas used seem to be good qua...
Pear White Tea (Formerly White Pear) from Revolution Tea
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: ?????58 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

This tea was "something else". It was my first nominally pear-flavored tea, but most of the experience was of something else. This was one of the few teas I've tried where the aromas were consistently the same from dry bag to cup to wet bag, but the taste was something else.
I found the aroma remarkably floral, ...
Sweet Ginger Peach from Revolution Tea
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Blend58 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

This blend has some potential, but is far from my favorite flavored black tea. The first and biggest turnoff was the dry-bag aroma, which reminded me of cheap incense—specifically, the sort employed to smoke-bomb a room fast, in order to mask pot usage. This is the second tea that has given off that cheap-incense v...

The next entry from a Revolution variety pack delivered one of the strangest experiences I've had with a tea. Sniffing the dry bag (pyramid sachet) rendered an unmistakably familiar aroma that took me many tries to recall its specific origin. "Sniff, sniff, sniff...I know this...sniff, sniff, sniff...where have I sme...

Here's the first tea I've tried from a Revolution variety pack, and it was a pleasant surprise! The ingredients list looked promising, with a blend of Ceylon, Darjeeling and "Foromosa" (presumably Formosa, misspelled) oolong, French lavender flowers, and bergamot oil.
It was impossible not to compare this to anothe...
Golden Chamomile from Revolution Tea
Style: Chamomile Blend – Region: Blend66 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

I found this one hard to rate, and get the sense drinkers will fall into one of three main camps:
* Like it!
* Yuck, pour it out now! or...
* What did I just drink?
My reaction is a mix of the first and last bullets. The tea is a puzzle. It does different things to different senses at different times, which...
English Breakfast from Revolution Tea

I got a cup of this at a gas station, surprisingly. I think it's better than the average English Breakfast, though I'm comparing it to the common bagged English Breakfast blends like Twinings because I have never bought it loose leaf. It mostly tasted like Assam to me, with the hint of a bright honey flavor being the o...

Sometimes the best teas are accidental discoveries. Aiming to gulp down some omelets at an IHOP, I saw green tea on the drink menu (uncommon for a chain!) and ordered some. To my surprise, it wasn't one of the mass-produced bagged big brands or food-service teas, but this, in a pyramid sachet, with reasonably large l...

One of the best ginger peach teas I have had. The peach taste is very noticeable, the ginger a bit less so. And there was no bitterness to it even though it is a black tea. Very nice.

I am one of those people to whom this type of tea always tastes faintly like soap. This one, however, pleasantly surprised me. It wouldn't be one of my favorite teas, but I found it far more palatable than other brands. Revolution is one of my favorite tea companies. Even the teas I don't particularly care for seem to ...

Another very nice tea from Revolution. As always, their teas are a little too pricey for me but I always enjoy them when I get the chance. It had a smooth taste with no bitterness. The fruity taste was also noticeable, which sometimes doesn't happen in less expensive teas

This tea was heavenly. It is definitely a nice bedtime tea. As usual with revolution teas, it is a bit pricey, since it is more like a loose leaf tea in a tea bag (no cheap tea bags filled with tea ground to "dirt" or "dust").

The pear taste is very nice. This tea is rather expensive compared to some other tea bag brands, since it is more like a loose leaf tea in a bag. There is no "tea dust" here. It is one of those rare cases in which you actually do get what you pay for. It is a little too pricey for me, but it makes a nice treat.

Not quite a new favorite, but solid. The fruity scent is quite nice. Though I think I'd prefer this with a different base tea, brewed well and kept hot this tea can be refreshing. People who like flavored white teas should certainly try this one.
I like that this tea comes with a ziplock bag inside so that you can ...
Earl Grey Lavender from Revolution Tea
Style: Miscellaneous Blend – Region: Blend70 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

The aroma is loaded with delicate lavender and sharp bergamot, with compliments of mellow muscatel and a hint of malt. This is not like most Earl's, it is more smooth and gentle.
The taste is at first incredibly smooth and fades to a crisp briskness. The base tea blend mixes muscatel and malt flavors with a very sli...

Moderate strength, relatively full-bodied, but considerably less bitter than typical for an English breakfast.
I think I prefer the green and white teas from Revolution tea, but this one was not bad.

This was surprisingly strong for a white tea. I brewed it for 4 minutes using a little over a cup with the teabag, and it was too strong. I recommend either brewing for a shorter time or using the teabag to brew two or more cups at once. This tea is quite good for multiple infusions; the pear comes out more in later...

This blended green tea has a surprisingly distinct character. It has strong grassy tones, without the sharpness of the sencha and the acidity of the chun mee. Moderately bitter. I found this to be a very enjoyable green tea. It is quite pricey, although the price is on par with other brands selling pyramid sachets ...
