Both the dry tea bag and brewing tea smell like straight-up spearmint oil.
Bigelow's base tea is too mild to stand up to the spearmint and I can neither taste nor smell any tea at all. Aside from the color, this is indistinguishable from plain spearmint. The spearmint is good, but I expect to taste tea in my tea.

I've said before that ginger tea can be a bit overpowering at times. In this case, it's one of the best blended ginger teas I've found to date. The ginger is there, but not overpowering. This tea does pull off the black forest cake aroma fairly well, but the flavor is one of a kind. It's not overwhelmingly chocolate, the initial flavor takes more from cherry, but the aftertaste is just like a warm slice of black forest cake.
