Ginger Flavoured Tea from Dilmah
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon70 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Sep. 3rd, 2013
Ran across this at my local Big Lots, with a price of $2 for 20 teabags, so of course I bought some. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed, in fact, very happily surprised. The tea bags are not individually wrapped, but instead come sealed as a group. The ginger flavor is mild and doesn't overwhelm the black te...

Now I am thoroughly confused, as I thought this was a Shanti tea - but was informed that the Shanti Pasionfruit Black has been d/c'ed. Meanwhile...
I usually don't care for passionfruit - but I had a Delicious Iced Passionfruit Black tea - and man, was it good. Granted, it was the middle or summer - so this was a ...

Blueberry from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon80 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
May. 30th, 2013
I am extremely picky when it comes to blueberry flavored tea, I want it to taste like ripe, sweet, blueberries and not tart unpleasant fruit. So many teas make the tart mistake but not this one! The aroma when opening the package is blueberries all the way, an added plus when you actually see blueberries in the leaves....

Cream from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
May. 30th, 2013
This is such a decadent tea! Delicious and bold the aroma is that of rich, sweet cream and the taste matches. A great dessert tea and an even better breakfast tea (if you want something sweet first thing).
I would not recommend this tea if you are not a fan of sweets!

Guanabana from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon90 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

This just might be my new favorite from Adagio! Wonderfully floral and fruity with just a slight tart taste...just like guanabana fruit. It tastes good black or with a bit of sugar and milk.

Chocolate Chip from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon67 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

The tea leaves smell very chocolaty but sadly I felt like the tea just tasted burnt. Also tastes a bit bitter like dark chocolate which I liked and felt complimented the tea taste. Wish it did not have the burnt taste or it would be a favorite!

Toasted Sesame from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon43 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 4/5

The aroma of the leaves and the tea itself are very bland, no toasted sesame at all just a vague burnt smell.
Sadly I found this tea disappointing, it tastes like a decent black tea but there is not sesame taste except for a vague burnt taste. I was hoping for a bold sesame taste but did not get that.

Earl Grey Bravo from Adagio Teas
Style: Blue Flower Earl Grey – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 2/5

This tea is pretty good. It has just the right amount of bergamot for me (which may be less than most Earl Grey enthusiasts like). I added cream and sugar.

Earl Grey Tea from Tetley Tea
Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon67 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 13th, 2012
One of my favorite things about Earl Grey is its aroma and the dried leaf of this tea delivered with a strong smell of bergamot. Unfortunately, the scent was deceiving, as the smell was lost after steeping and the flavor was too mild for my taste. While I liked the aroma of this tea, I'd rather stick with Celestial S...

Caramel Flavoured Tea from Dilmah
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5

I feel like this tea is both unique and versatile, which is ultimately why I put people should buy it. The tea is more scented like caramel and goes well with milk and sugar (despite the suggestions of the company), but is good naked as well. I think the ultimate strength is its ability to mix well with other fruit f...

Mango from Dilmah
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon87 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 29th, 2012
First off, this tea smells phenomenal. Dilmah does a great job making a fruit tea that can also double as an air freshener. As for the taste, it makes a great iced tea. The mango is strong, the tea is strong, and they're fairly well balanced. Overall, if you like mango, then you'll like this.

I didn't like this tea. My son, my little tea tasting buddy, also disliked it. However, it is what it says it is - a smooth cream tea, so I cannot rate it badly. Just completely not my preference. Very creamy and tastes convincing.

Vanilla from Adagio Teas

Adagio has an awesome website and their teas are competitively priced. Alas, their flavored teas just don't float my boat. "Chemically" is how I'd describe both the vanilla and the other flavors I've tried. They're a popular brand, so maybe it's just me.

Peach Flavoured Tea from Dilmah

Love this tea, and I drink it hot, with a little skim milk to cut the tannin. It has a wonderful aroma, and the flavour is fruity, but not sweet. It truly tastes of peach, which is a perfect match with the ceylon tea flavour. I have also used Paddington's Peach and Pickwick peach tea, which are also good, but harder t...

Golden Peach Tea from St. Dalfour

Thanks to my friend Sparky for providing this one. I didn't know what to expect of this tea. Unlike many American fruit-flavored teas, this tea is very subtle; the fruitiness is not overdone and blends well with the base tea. The base tea is quite weak for a Ceylon, but is also smooth. The fruitiness has a little d...

This tea is so good that I asked the ratetea.net guys to add it to their database!
It's a wonderful black tea (So, you get a pretty good caffeine hit from it.) that is made even better with just the right amount of apricot flavoring. The apricot flavoring is strong enough so that it doesn't disappear behind the Ceyl...

Currant from Adagio Teas

I don't know if I have ever actually eaten a currant, but none the less I purchased some of this tea because it sounded interesting. I was so surprised at the delicious flavor that I bought a bigger tin and shared with my friends. Very good 'berry' tea, brews up with that traditional berry aroma.

Earl Grey from Ten Ren Tea

I was disappointed with this one, as I was with Ten Ren's black tea. There isn't much complexity to the black tea aroma, and the bergamot is a bit too weak for me. I prefer many other brands' attempts at teabag Earl Grey to this one.
