Royal Vinter from Gevalia

Given the ingredients, I expected this expressly stated (on the box) seasonal offering to be a nice hybrid of a mild chai and a traditional "Christmas tea". Instead it had a nice but understated taste all its own.
The dry bag didn't have much aroma, but what I could detect involved modest allspice and cloves, lay...
Super Ceylon Cardamom Gold from Alghazaleen Tea (Do Ghazal)
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5

Cup at home, made from fine dark brown and black leaves of Ceylon. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown. Clear aroma of black tea leaves, malty with notes and touches of cardamom. Ditto flavour, although the malty notes are less pronounced than in the aroma. Bitter, astringent but not aggressive, palate, with a leafy ...

Basilur is creative in the packaging and marketing of their teas. This is part of an impressively elaborate gimmick: the second in a multi-volume series of well-decorated "books"—each a metal tin about the size and shape of a small hardback book—containing a plastic bag full of loose tea that gets folded and some...

Tropical fruits, peaches, and flavored black teas all tickle my fancy, so this offering from a Dollar Tree store promised to be worthwhile, as long as they used natural flavors (check), and didn't skimp on the flavoring itself (check). [TEViVE could use more tea, however...more on that below.]
As with their other...
Earl Grey Bravo from Adagio Teas
Style: Blue Flower Earl Grey – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon63 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5

Firstly, this tea is extremely citrusy and I try to blend it with some Ceylon(the base tea for this earl grey.) to make it less so. It tastes just like your average earl grey. And has a slight maltiness to it. It is very cheap though, which is always great. I only steeped this tea once and any other steeps seemed quite...

This will get the job done, but it's not much of a tea. I don't dislike it, but it's like drinking a big cup of Delaware. Thoroughly forgettable.

Love this tea, just the right amount of bergamot flavor with a touch of vanilla.

I prefer peppermint over spearmint but wasn't sure how well it would go with black tea, so I was cautiously optimistic about this tea. It turned out to be quite nice -- subtle yet smooth mint flavor blended into a solid black tea. It wasn't bitter at all. The flavor was robust enough for a solid two cups. The third cup...

I really like the slightly lemon-citrus smell of the dry leaf. It got me quite excited about trying this one. The lemon flavor is fairly subtle in this, but it's well blended. It tastes like a quality version of what I've seen called Lady Gray tea before. Certainly I would prefer this over most Earl Gray's I've tried, ...

I first tried some of this tea back in 2006 after seeing it in some tourist shops in Victoria, BC. [This review is posted ten years later after getting some more, also in Victoria.] The stuff is expensive; after all, retail markups are pretty steep for anything marketed as characteristically Canadian in such places. ...

This tea is unique and delicious when you're in the mood for something robust and fruity with a spicy kick. The tea pieces are pretty small (but not dust), so it infuses quickly. I steeped this for several minutes and it didn't turn bitter at all, which is excellent.
I really like this tea.
Earl Grey - Award Winning from Art of Tea

I'm a lifelong drinker of black tea and always use loose leaf tea. Since I drink tea at least 8 times a day, I felt I should make the switch to organic teas. My favorite Earl Grey was not organic, and no local stores carrying organic black teas had any loose leaf teas. So I went online and have been sampling. In side-b...

Do you like smooth, non-bitter, black tea? Do you like 7Up? Drop a tablespoon of 7Up (or Diet 7Up if you prefer your tea unsweetened), into a cup of smooth black tea, and you will do a reasonable approximation of this drink.
Basilur Lemon and Lime is not as strong as I'd like in flavor or aroma, but is an easygo...

This is a fantastic iced tea that kept good flavor on rebrewing - when filling my pitcher I brew a quart with 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon, then use the same leaves on a second quart. It smells pleasantly peachy and not artificial at all, and it tastes sweet and a little bitter and astringent. A 3 oz bag has produced many...

I love Earl Grey tea, this included. Not overpowering, great aroma, and sweet without been sickly. Add some milk and sugar to enjoy the sweetness even more.

I've only had this as iced tea with sugar, not hot.
It took me a while to figure out how to prepare this to my taste. It was far too bitter when steeped cold overnight, and also when steeped in boiling water for 5 minutes (and then cooled). I found that steeping it in boiling water for around 4 minutes is best. To t...

This has been my go-to tea for the last couple of weeks. When it runs out, I'll probably try other types of Earl Grey, though maybe I'll buy this again someday. It's good, though basic.
It's a fairly mild tea with a very mild bergamot flavor. Only a little bitterness. Pretty astringent. You can only smell and taste ...

If you like tea with a taste of fruit this is your cup. The taste of ginger is sweeten by the peach flavor, taking away the harsh taste of ginger without over powering the brew. As for the aftertaste it doesn't linger long, but it leaves a warm feeling on the taste buds. Ginger is great for settling the stomach and thi...

The peach and ginger flavors in this tea are muted, but very smooth. I really like this one! A part of me wishes that the fruit and spice were stronger, but mostly I think this makes an excellent morning tea. The black tea is robust without being overpowering or bitter, and it holds up to multiple infusions well. Great...

black tea with equal parts tropical fruit smell...brewed on the higher end of both leaves and time brewed...taste is more bitter than I was expecting...and less fruity, but fuller flavor. Mostly black tea taste here, with a hint of fruit. (NEXT TIME BREW 5 MINUTES INSTEAD OF 6?)

I greatly prefer this EG to Adagio's Earl Grey Moonlight. This is a basic EG, and that's ok by me. The tea has a good aroma and flavor, but without being overpowering. I'd call this one solid.
I had the sugar and milk out, but it didn't need either. This was great on its own and I can see this being a tea I drink a...

This could be a new fave! The unbrewed tea aroma is amazeballs. Stepped for 5 min with boiling water, there was no bitterness here.
The cherry flavor is pleasantly noticeable, without being overpowering. The base black tea they use seems like the perfect showcase for the cherry flavor. I wish I had some of this...

Another tea bag purchased from Bell's Market in NE Philly. I was expecting to like this flavored tea a lot less than the blackcurrant, because I tend to like blackcurrant as a flavoring with tea much more than cherry.
This has an artificial-smelling cherry scent. It smells more like cherry syrup or an artificially...

I'm a huge fan of Twinings blackcurrant-flavored black tea, and it's the only example of such a tea that I've ever tried, so I was curious to try this one. Unfortunately, I don't like it as much.

The aroma is very sweet with notes of burnt sugar and vanilla with a hint of black tea, it very much so smells like tea and candy. Once brewed the aroma becomes quite malty and rich with notes of toffee and creamy sweetness.
The taste is pretty intense tasting almost more like a caramel mochiatto than tea! Strong no...
