Half-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of oolong leaves and pieces of strawberries, guava and coconut as well as cornflower blossom. Pours clear pale straw (against white china) with no sediment. Clear aroma of coconut and strawberries, with touches of oolong leaves. Mild, bitter, leafy taste of oolong, with touch...

One-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of dark green, curly dried oolong leaves and what looks (and smells) like pieces of apple and lemon peel, and rose petals, sprinkled with elderberry aroma. Pours clear lightish straw (against white china) with negligible sediment. Clear aroma of oolong leaves, with notes of le...

An interesting concoction, in which East meets West. The chocolate is not very strong, but it is noticeable. It was a little odd at first, but it did grow on me.

Are my taste buds missing something here? This is an expensive oolong, and Alex Z. gave it a good review. But it really did not do much for me, sorry to say. There is a little floral aroma, and it tasted light and fairly simple. Nothing to get excited over. Maybe I did not get a good bag of it for some reason or o...

Note: Adagio is really generous. They give you points and free tea for eating their tea or sharing their company on social. This particular tea was a free sample which is always a joy to receive.
Aroma: The aroma on this one really comes into focus as it cool. Definitely shows a brow...

One-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of oolong, green tea leaves, and elderflower blossom, red and black currants, raspberries and strawberries (I clearly see some of these; the rest is what I have found mentioned in the commercial description on the tea company's website). Pours clear darkish amber (against whit...

This is a decent tea that tastes just like I expected it to. It’s billed as a zesty blend of “warm cinnamon, cardamom and zesty orange peel,” and they aren’t wrong. The cinnamon and cardamom are well-balanced and rich, and the orange peel provides a decent kick to go along with the lightly caffeinated oolong te...

Thank you to my friend Joe for giving me this sample!
The aroma of the dry leaf is intense and intoxicating, an intense fragrance of marzipan or sweeet almond, like stinging your nose in a bottle of amaretto or almond extract. It's pretty much all flavoring; I can't discern any qualities of the underlying tea from t...
Raja Oolong Chai from Adagio Teas

Mmmmmm, I'm liking this tea. It's a nice mixtures of spicy flavors that works well with the oolong base. I've seen comparisons of this tea with Teavana's Maharaja Oolong Chai, but I was never a huge fan of that tea. This one strikes me as more flavorful and balanced. Though I think I prefer it on its own, it also holds...

I've found most chocolate teas to be a bit off. Usually, they don't taste like chocolate at all, and end up feeling arbitrary. This one actually does fairly well, however, and pulls off a flavor that is reminiscent of an Andes mint. The aroma is of chocolate, though not overwhelming or unique in any way, but the flavor...

I really enjoyed this tea! The aroma of maple is strong both in the dry leaf and the brewed cup. One should definitely try this tea without a sweetener first, as I think it's already almost dessert-like in its sweetness. But that sweet maple flavor doesn't taste cloying or excessive. It's a great tea for when you might...

Stash tea hasn't exactly been a spectacular win in my book, but this one they got right. The aroma is definitely peach, and it has the flavor to match. It's not overwhelming, but definitely tastes like a peach. Not overly sweet, not too much caffeine, just right.

I'm a big fan of coconut, so I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to expectations, though it wasn't wholly unappetizing either. As has been said before, the aroma is somewhat artificial, reminding me of sunscreen. The flavor seems more mango than coconut, but the aroma overpowers the fl...

This has turned out a surprise favorite. The aroma of the dry leaf is of fairly intense almond extract. After brewing, the almond aroma is still strong but a bit more blended and muted. The oolong and almond flavors work very nicely together. The tea also does pretty well with a second steeping. I may get this one in m...

Pretty good tea. It smells like a ginger candy but without any sweetness. The taste is what you'd expect. A good amount of ginger to oolong but maybe a bit too much ginger. This tea is spicy just like a masala chai, but extremely mild. It is a pretty nice value at around 20$ a pound though.

Possibly not the best tea for you based on the other ratings on this tea. But I found it to be spectacular! It is a much darker oolong and could even be mistaken for a black tea by a non-enthusiast. It has an extremely peachy smell when you open up the box that flows through your nose. The taste is not very complex, an...

Before discussing the tea, I want to mention a little about the branding and packaging. First, the "Ten Fu's" font and graphics look like they're intentionally similar to Ten Ren's trademark logo, but Ten Fu's and Ten Ren are different companies. Second, cans of Ten Fu's tea include a Taiwan logo on the can, which many...

Ten Ren's King's Tea has been my favorite for years. The base tea is high quality to begin with and the ginseng is subtle enough that the flavors blend well. It's difficult for me to tell where the tea flavor ends and the ginseng begins.
On the tongue, the tea is lightly bitter with an initial grassy flavor that giv...

I like the mild peach flavor that doesn't overpower the oolong flavor of this tea. It is reasonably priced, and shipped in a foil lined pouch so that it remains fresh. The smell when you first open the bag is amazing, and the tea has a similar flavor

Another very nice tea from Revolution. As always, their teas are a little too pricey for me but I always enjoy them when I get the chance. It had a smooth taste with no bitterness. The fruity taste was also noticeable, which sometimes doesn't happen in less expensive teas

This was an interesting tea; I love scented oolongs, and I love trying floral-scented teas other than the usual jasmine, so I jumped on the opportunity to try this one when I saw my parents had ordered some.

As a big peach flavor fan, I was a bit disappointed how weak the peachy flavor was - not nearly as strong as their black peach tea. It smells deliciously peachy but the flavor just isn't quite there. It still tastes good, but if you really want that fruit flavor (and I do!) I'd suggest something else.

A solid pumpkin spice tea. It has a distinct creaminess that I alternately like and then feel is a bit much or slightly off. It works best with an extra amount of tea.
It'd get a better rating if it was more affordable, but it's worth trying.
Grapefruit Oolong from Adagio Teas

Surprisingly good, though not a favorite. It has a relatively dark/roasted flavor from the tea (which isn't my favorite but was done well for what it is) and a lighter grapefruit flavor than I expected based on the smell of the dry leaf. The citrus flavoring really improved this style of oolong for me.
The second cu...
