↑About Bare Tea
Bare Tea is a tea company, founded in 2012 and based in New York City. The company sells loose-leaf teas and teas in pyramid sachets, and focuses on pure, single-origin teas, and also sells a masala chai.
Bare tea also sells tea cookies, which are meant to be pared with tea, but which also include a matcha-infused green tea cookie as well.
The company uses biodegradable sachets, free of paper, strings, or staples, and avoids individual wrapping for each tea bag, instead selling the tea bags in resealable airtight jars.

After trying it again, I'm redoing my original review of this tea.
This is a very nice Dragon Well. Excellent price for the quality and, so long as you don't let it oversteep, it makes several excellent cups.
This tea infuses quite slowly and tends to look pale. The taste is there, though. Waiting for some steam ...
I quite enjoyed this tea. The most notable spice in the smell and flavor is cardamom, but it isn't overpowering. I can also detect the undertones of apple that Alex mentioned.
For me, this tea worked both straight and with milk. Not my all time favorite, but a decent chai. Works well with food, too. Though progressi...
Organic Darjeeling (Makaibari Estate)
Style: Darjeeling Black Tea – Region: Darjeeling, IndiaDec. 11th, 2014
Quite a nice Darjeeling. It isn't as complex or raisin-like as some others, but it certainly fits in with the better-than-most-black-teas-by-a-lot crowd. Like other Darjeelings, it strikes me as a better version of Southern tea than actual Southern teas. For me, this makes an excellent everyday drinking tea. Not only i...
Read Full ReviewI loved matcha in Japan, but I really need more practice brewing it. This matcha tastes of good quality and has a proper level of sweetness (not overdone). I like it, but I need to try it more to determine how best I like it. I do know that mixing in a little milk first to make a paste before adding the hot water makes...
Read Full ReviewThis chai smells so good ... like cloves and cinnamon, or spiced apple cider. It tastes a little weak, and not really like it smells, but it's still enjoyable.
