This tea is named somewhat differently in the US vs Europe but I'm pretty sure it's the same. In Germany it's "Assam TGFOP1 Ananda" with "Second Flush" underneath, whereas in the US the grade is omitted in the name, but clarified in the tea's description so I'm pretty sure it's the same thing.

This tea is definitely very unique but super tasty. It kind of tastes like dried fruit and it’s a little spicy but not super harsh or anything. If you’re looking for an interesting yet tasty tea that’s different from your average breakfast tea, try this!

Pleasant and mild aroma, this tea has a nice appearance. Dark leaves with some golden tips. The liquor is dark brown with a hint of honey color. Tasty and smooth on the tongue. A nice hint of malt.

Taylor's has/had a "Pure Assam". Does the absence of that adjective here make this one "impure" by default? :-)
Seriously, I don't know if "Assam Tea" is the same as "Pure Assam", repackaged and rebranded, or a parallel offering. It has been a few years since I tried and reviewed "Pure Assam", so I can't compare...

The dry tea has almost no odor at all. The teabag smells slightly woody, which could either be from the tea or the paper. The tea looks to be CTC pellets that were ground up further. I wonder if the "Pure Assam" that this tea seems to have replaced was orthodox tea and that's the difference.

The dry tea is chopped up quite fine. It looks like a typical Darjeeling, having a range of colors from light green to a dark brown, indicating a range of oxidations.
