Dragon Pearl Jasmine from Harney and Sons

I was pleasantly surprised by this Jasmine. Typically I find that Jasmine teas smell fantastic but brew super bitter and tasteless. Dragon Pearl Jasmine, on the other hand, was both aromatic and flavorful without being overpowering. A solid choice for Jasmine.

Oh boy, this is a super-duper good jasmine. It is tied for first place for me, as it is so different from my other favorite. It is very very flora, without being cloying. The taste is thoroughly Jasmine and I really can't say enough good about it. It will go for several short infusions and it is great fun to watch th...

This is a superb tea. It is very rich, very sweet, with a bit of a pepper kick to ground it. I am a huge fan of Yunnan and while this isn't the very best Yunnan, (that would be wasted in a blend) it is of high enough quality to carry the very good Jasmine. This is not an ethereal Jasmine, but a very solid one. I p...

Very strong floral aroma to the dry leaf. The cup brews a deep golden color, and its aroma is much more subtle than that of the dry leaf. Smooth flavor. Overall character is mellow, deep, but with a metallic aftertaste.
I made three infusions, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, and much longer for the last. The aroma was hig...

Not one of BTC's best successes. Not much aroma, not enough Jasmine taste. Just not a smooth mix.

I can't say enough good about this tea. It is lovely to look at, to smell and to taste. An absolutely superb jasmine, well worth every penny you spend on it. It is delicate, but gives a full mouth feel. The scent is easily the best, as is the taste and I do love Jasmine teas.

It's a little unclear from reading the commercial description how this tea is produced. The description describes the traditional process, but the ingredients list "natural flavor" rather than by using the traditional scenting method. Based on the aroma of the dry leaf, it seems like the "natural flavor" method inste...

The smell and taste of the Jasmine was authentic, and not artificial. The aroma of the tea was of Jasmine flowers, sweet and soft, calming me down and reminding me of a sleepy time tea. The color of the liquor was very light, as expected from the white tea leaves. The white tea is tasty, I could taste the creaminess an...

The aroma is honey-like, like pouchong tea more than the crisper green tea. Less jasmine in the aroma than some jasmines, but it's definitely present. Mellow and warm.
The flavor, however, is intense: remarkably sweet, but also with a biting bitterness (especially if you brew this one too long). I would recommend...

Exceptionally good. This is without a doubt the best Jasmine tea that I have ever tried from a tea bag, and in quality it exceeds many loose Jasmines I've tried.
Aroma is intensely floral, but purely pleasing...none of the overwhelming or harsh perfumey quality that some Jasmine can take on. The green tea also has...

This is a very mild tea, in a good way. The flavor is a little bland, but the aroma is amazing. It is a little like drinking flowers, but they're tasty flowers. Despite the fact that this tea is caffeinated, its effect is soothing - which could be good or bad, depending on how alert you need to be!

I brewed this with water that had cooled down considerably from boiling, but I'm not sure of the exact temperature. Aroma was very floral but not only in a jasmine way, I had the sense that the tea had a floral aspect as well. The jasmine, too, was particularly strong and smooth on this. The base tea actually had so...

Very strongly aromatic...aroma is sweet, very floral but less perfumey than some Jasmines. There's almost a hint of wintergreen in the aroma. It's also fairly vegetal and a bit fishy. The aroma strikes me as a bit strange and has some unpleasant characteristics to it.
Very smooth flavor, sweet, with absolutely no...

This was acceptable, but I was disappointed with the flavor and weakness of the aroma compared to Foojoy's other teabag teas that I've tried. The value was o.k., but the flavor could have been better. I agree with Alex's review, which recommends a longer brewing time.

Weak Jasmine aroma, even relative to other teabag Jasmine teas. Flavor is sweet, gentle, with almost no bitterness and with only a hint of sourness. Aroma is honeylike, like a pouchong, but weak and not terribly interesting.
This tea scalds very easily if brewed with water that is too hot. Be sure to use water we...

This is my favorite tea. I haven't found a green jasmine that I like better. However the $13.00 price tag is too expensive for me at the moment...so I must resist temptation. The aroma is more present than others I've tried and I know it's quality as I can drink it first thing in the morning without it making my sto...

Complex aroma, less floral than most Jasmines and than I had expected. I liked this tea but I'm not sure I perceived it the same way it is described...it tasted a little bit peppery to me...the base tea reminded me somewhat of a white peony and somewhat of a pouchong. This tea is gentle if you brew it briefly but can...

The floral scent is much weaker than in some Jasmines but it's pleasant; this is a very smooth tea, without the bitterness or astringency that plagues many of the cheaper teabag Jasmines. My only complaint is that I wish the aroma were overall stronger, both of the tea and the Jasmine.

I was served this at a coffee and tea trade show last week. It was an unnatural neon orange color. I asked the TLAAB presenter what was added to the tea but she assured me it was just green tea leaf and jasmine petals. Right..... The flavor was mild with almost no jasmine scent and very little tea flavor to boot, ...

An average Jasmine green tea. Drinkable, but very run-of-the-mill and somewhat generic tasting.
The price-tag is astronomical. I recommend avoiding this one; you can buy better Jasmine teas from any number of sources, even in teabags. Also, I think Mighty Leaf's other offerings are much better.
