Currant from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit Black Tea – Region: Sri Lanka / Ceylon83 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 5/5

I don't know if I have ever actually eaten a currant, but none the less I purchased some of this tea because it sounded interesting. I was so surprised at the delicious flavor that I bought a bigger tin and shared with my friends. Very good 'berry' tea, brews up with that traditional berry aroma.

This tea is too sweet for me, but my 10 year old daughter loves this stuff! Definitely just the thing for the tea drinker with a sweet tooth. Takes sweetener and cream well.
The pyramid silken teabag is fun to play with. Like other unwrapped teabags in boxes, this leaves tea dust inside the box. Never had any teabag...
Pumpkin Spice Autumn Spiced Tea from Bigelow Tea
Style: Flavored Black Tea – Region: ?????27 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 1/5

I did not enjoy this tea at all. It had a strong "spice" flavor (mostly cinnamon and cloves) and tasted like damp tree leaves and potpourri. I did not taste the underlying black tea at all and could not finish my cup.
I had hoped for a pumpkin flavor, but I did not detect one.

A pleasant blend of mint and black tea. Tastes very nice and widely available. Not very aromatic, but the flavor is fine.

I love fruity black teas, and this one is an old standby for me. Bigelow teas are often available in offices, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores, and this is the sweetest of the flavored black teas they offer. This can take some sweetener and cream, but it's sweet on its own.

There are better Earl Greys out there. Out of the packet, the teabag barely smells like tea, but it tastes fine. This is widely available and decent; you could do a lot worse.

VERY STRONG vanilla scent and flavor, which I adore. A bit pricier than other vanilla teas I've had, but the added flavor made it worth it. I enjoy this with cream and sweetener.
The black tea carries the flavor well, and the tea itself is beautiful in its silken teabag. Plumps up nicely in hot water.

Foojoy teas are very nicely priced and always tasty. This tea has a strong lichee (lychee) sweet scent and flavor to it, and the black tea can be very bitter if steeped too long. I recommend pulling the teabag out before you think you need to, just to see if it has reached the right level of flavor for you. I prefer th...

Readily available, and not annoyingly heavy with the bergamot. The first Earl Grey I ever tried, and as such forms a baseline for comparison of other Earl Greys that I try.

Fair nose dominated by the bergamot. Made from the bag, the steeped tea has no truly distinctive flavors. My guess is that by the time it made it through the distribution chain, all the life had oxidized out of this tea.

I love, love, love Lady Grey. It's not as strong as Earl Grey, but has a more fruity (citrus) flavor. Great with some honey and milk!

Twinings is a good tea but I've found what I consider comparable quality teas to be less expensive. For example, the "Publix Premium" brand Earl Grey, produced by a grocery chain here in the U.S., costs 30-40% less while being of about comparable quality to Twinings, in my opinion.
As others have said, Twinings is l...

it smells like heaven and tastes exactly like it sounds. Overall nutty appeal and aroma with some vanilla undertones and a sweet background. Probably my favorite type of flavored tea outside the realm of Chai's.

This is one of my favorite daily teas. It is a wonderful blend of the robust black tea teamed with the accent flavors to give a rich and smooth taste. A cup or pot of this wonderful tea is sure to please and start your day off right!

This is a solid breakfast, wake-up tea! Citrus and cinnamon notes of the aroma grab your attention right away. The flavor matches the aroma - top notch.
It's hard to objectively rate this tea because it invokes warm, loving, comfortable memories for me. I can only guess whether it will do the same for you.

It's pretty good tea overall. This is one of the only brands of loose leaf tea available in my area, so I drink this stuff up often. It is, however, kind of dry in comparison to some other brands of Earl Grey I've tried. The Bergamot oil is pretty light in this brand.
Overall, it's worth keeping some around.

This is a good black tea for after dinner with desserts. It is really great with a little sugar or honey and milk in my opinion. It tastes like a mint chocolate cookie or dark chocolate with mint. One of the only minty teas I enjoy. It is also good plain iced in the summer or hot in the winter to settle your stomach.

A bold and sharp Earl Grey. Very strong bergamot presence, which I like! The black tea also has some complexity to it, although it quickly becomes very bitter and astringent, so I recommend brewing briefly. I was surprised at the quality of this tea.

I've had this both loose and in teabags, and while it's definitely a lot better loose, it still tastes more or less like the same tea. I've always found Twinings' rendition of Earl Grey to be one of the more muted ones...both in the black tea and the bergamot. It has less bite than I'd expect, and is a bit more mello...
