Rooibos from The Tea Lab
Style: Rooibos – Region: South Africa67 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 11th, 2015
The Tea Lab's rooibos is quite good. The dried leaves are wonderfully uniform in shape and color, and are a deep red. The aroma is not as strong as some, but still very sweet and earthy. The taste is exquisitely smooth without a bit of bitterness and focuses not as much on the vanilla undertones often found in rooibos ...

Gunpowder Green Tea (Zhu Cha) from TeaVivre
Style: Gunpowder Green Tea – Region: Fuding, Fujian, China80 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 5/5
Jun. 4th, 2015
This is a very vegetal tea, but at the same time, not overwhelmingly so. In a way, it is your stereotypical green tea, that tastes like vegetables and has a slight bitterness to it. If you like green tea, however, it is an excellent everyday tea due to it's very affordable price.
First, the aroma is very smooth. It...

Snowbud from Adagio Teas
Style: White Tea – Region: Fujian, China83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 3rd, 2015
This is an excellent white tea. The aroma is very faint, light, and floral. The taste complements the aroma beautifully with it's lightness and delicateness. It is quite sweet and fruity, but not in an overwhelming manner. There is not a bit of bitterness anywhere, but just smooth and simple sweetness. The taste and ar...

Honey Vanilla Chamomile from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Chamomile Blend – Region: ?????50 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 4/5
Jun. 1st, 2015
I am a huge fan of chamomile, especially in the evenings. This tea, however, has so many other flavors that there is nearly no chamomile left. I also feel like the sweetness and honey flavors are not natural. The sweetness is too much. Personally, I would much rather have a cup of fresh chamomile and add some honey mys...

White Symphony from Adagio Teas
Style: White Peony Tea – Region: ?????60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

I was not a huge fan of this tea. It has a hint of nuttiness that I liked, but there was not the delicate sweetness that I enjoy in a white tea. Definitely a good tea, but not to my liking.

This is an excellent flavored rooibos. The name describes the emotions felt when drinking the tea quite well. The rooibos is blended with some citrus, but not very strong. Definitely a hint of orange, but not overwhelmingly so. Overall a very smooth and happy cup of tea that is perfect for a chilly night!

May. 31st, 2015
Although I like green tea, this is not one of my favorites. Although it seems to be of good quality, the taste is not for me. There is a strong vegetal flavor as well as a bitterness present throughout that I am not fond of. That being said, the aroma is very pleasant with a strong vegetal smell. It seems to be a good ...

Chamomile from Adagio Teas
Style: Pure Chamomile Tea – Region: Egypt73 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5

Although the only loose leaf versions of Chamomile I've tried, this variety seems to be very good. The flowers are all whole and very few are crushed. The steeped tea has a wonderful fruity aroma and a very smooth taste. It reminds me of honey. Very good, especially at night!

Blood Orange from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
May. 30th, 2015
This herbal concoction from Adagio has got to be one of my favorite herbal fruit teas. The aroma is just superb. Very sweet, yet also with a slight tartness, and definitely filled with orange. The flavor is dominated by the orange, but also has a strong hibiscus flavor and an overall hint of tartness. At the same time,...

White Blueberry (Blueberry White) from Adagio Teas
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Fujian, China63 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
May. 30th, 2015
This is an interesting tea. I thought I would like the combination of blueberry and white tea, which I do, but the more I drink it the more I realize there is something off about this tea. I think there is too much blueberry for the amount of tea. The aroma is wonderful if smelled briefly. However, if you take in a ful...

Rooibos from Adagio Teas
Style: Rooibos – Region: South Africa80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
May. 30th, 2015
Plain rooibos is definitely my favorite herbal tea. Adagio's rooibos has an earthy and sweet aroma that leads to that naturally sweet taste that is characteristic of rooibos. The taste is filled with strong undertones of vanilla and honey. It is smooth, but not as smooth as some other rooibos tea and even has a hint of...

Rooibos Vanilla (Vanilla Rooibos) from Adagio Teas
Style: Flavored Rooibos – Region: ?????77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
May. 30th, 2015
To start off, it is probably a good idea to say that rooibos is one of my favorite teas to begin with. That being said, I usually drink it straight, both hot and iced. I sometimes enjoy the flavored versions, but I always come back to the plain rooibos. However, I really enjoy the vanilla and rooibos blend in this tea....

Style: Clouds & Mist (Yun Wu) – Region: Jiangxi, China80 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
May. 17th, 2015
The first observation I had of this tea is the wonderful deep and even color of the leaves. The aroma of the dried leaves is very pleasant and slightly vegetal. After steeping, I noticed that the color is very light, but the aroma and taste is more bold than expected, with a strong but still pleasant and smooth taste. ...

This was my first experience of this variety of tea, and I was very pleased! The aroma is wonderful—very fruity and sweet. The taste was also very sweet and delicate. There is strong floral and fruity notes while still having a hint of vegetation. Nothing too strong, just very mellow and smooth. It is almost like a c...

This is a very decent cup of rooibos. The ground rooibos seems to really add a deep color and flavor to each cup, which is very nice.

I have always been a fan of mint, but regular peppermint can sometimes be a bit strong. Spearmint, on the other hand, has a very smooth and even flavor.
This spearmint from The Tea Lab is great. The value is outstanding, currently being only 2.50 an ounce, and the quality seems to be just as good as anywhere else. I...

Organic African Nectar from Mighty Leaf Tea

This is one of my go-to rooibos blends when I need to take a teabag with me somewhere. I have always enjoyed rooibos on its own, but this blend adds a nice fruity flavor that rounds out the rooibos quite well. This also makes a superb iced tea and a great intro to the world of rooibos.

I am a huge fan of this tea. The aroma is a wonderful blend of sweetness and ginger. The taste is also great. There is a wonderful balance between the spiciness of the ginger and the sweetness of the licorice. You get the full flavor of ginger without the strong bitter/spicy taste. Overall a great pick for anyone who e...

This was the first tea I ordered from Teavivre. I was very pleased when I opened the package to be met with the strong grassy and sweet smell. It almost smells like a freshly mowed lawn in the spring. The leaves were of good quality, with almost none broken.
After brewing my first pot, I was pleased with the very v...
