Devonshire English Breakfast Black Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: English Breakfast – Region: Blend76 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Jan. 20th, 2019
"Devonshire" has one of the most full-bodied dry-bag aromas I've gotten from a breakfast tea, and unusually, it nearly matches the flavor for intensity. I detected virtually no difference between dry-bag scent, in-cup scent, and taste, the latter likewise being straightforwardly well-constructed within a nice, dark br...

The main aroma I get from this tea is the lemongrass which I enjoy. The flavor of this tea is mainly the sour lemony flavor from the lemongrass along with the fresh taste from the peppermint. Overall this tea is very fresh and zingy but still mild and pleasant to drink. I normally am not crazy about peppermint teas but...

This tea smells pretty good and fruity, it doesn’t smell artificial like some fruit teas do. Unfortunately the taste just isn’t doing it for me though. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, it’s just a bit too sour for my taste and it also leaves a weird sensation in my throat after drinking it (sort of an astringent...

The first thing I notice about this tea is how fruity it smells! It smells like cherrys in specific, true to its name. I enjoy the aroma and wasn’t expecting it to smell that strong! This tea is also extremely flavorful and a bit sour because of the cherry, I really like that. It is also really smooth and not astring...

I drink quite a bit of the decaffeinated version of this tea, but had never tried the regular, caffeinated type and had the opportunity to.
Celestial Seasonings doesn't individually wrap its tea bags, but they are sealed together in a pouch made of waxed paper. The tea in the square, tagless bags is chopped fine.

True Blueberry® Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Fruit (Herbal) Tea – Region: ?????57 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

This fruit tea smells just like crushed blueberries. Sipping the tea emphasizes the tartness and astringency of the hibiscus and rosehips that seem to be in all fruit tea these days. The finish tastes like canned blueberry pie filling.
The flavoring in this is too heavy. I think I'd just prefer the hibiscus and rose...
Raspberry Zinger Herbal Tea from Celestial Seasonings

The dry tea bag smells like dry raspberry Kool-Aid. Adding the water just intensifies the raspberry aroma.
The flavor is similar to Bigelow's Red Raspberry, but with a different balance. The raspberry flavor is much more pronounced, and the hibiscus is less tart. I feel it on the tongue more than taste it, but it se...

This is one of my favorite decaf teas.
Like all Celestial Seasonings teas, the stringless, tagless, square tea bags are connected in pairs and are not wrapped. The box has an inner package of waxed paper to keep the tea fresh until the package is opened, but I always move the tea bags to an airtight container after ...

Christmas in a cup. I look forward to this tea every holiday season! Even though there are no rules to drinking it all year long. I love the creamy vanilla taste added to a simple black tea. After brewing, I will add a splash of vanilla creamer or milk to the top. Perfect holiday tea.

Love this tea. Great price for a simple and sweet herbal tea. If you're not really a Chamomile fan or haven't tried many types of it yet, give this one a try. The honey and vanilla tone down the chamomile taste.
This is one of my go-to teas for when I have a sore throat. Right before pouring the hot water over the b...

I tried this tea at an event; I wasn't expecting to like it, but I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would.
This tea reminds me of a certain lifesaver flavor that I can't pinpoint...not one of the normal five flavors, and not a type I've had in years. It takes me back to my childhood. Perhaps a pina col...

This tea is the only fanning grade tea that I enjoy. It was the first tea I started to drink and I used to microwave my water and steep for 10+ minutes(4-5 minutes recommended) but I still loved it. The value isn't too good at about 18 cents a cup, which is about what a decent loose leaf oolong would cost from Adagio. ...

For peppermint, it's hard to top CS' version. As noted in some of my other peppermint tea reviews, this is an herb that is difficult to ruin anyway, and I love the flavor, whether stand-alone or mixed with other products (teas, candies, cookies, etc.). Some tea companies do use stems as cheap filler, or unadvertised ...

Coconut being one of my favorite flavors, this looked promising on the store shelf. With a sale price of just $2 at Sprouts, I figured to try a box. It contains all the usual suspects for a CS Zinger offering: hibiscus, rose hips, orange peel, and blackberry leaves, but with natural coconut flavors swapped in. The d...

This herbal tea has a nice flavor blend. Hibiscus and rose hips together already tastes nice, but adding a little watermelon and lime flavor makes for a fruity and refreshing blend. It's pleasantly tart and fruity with a nice sweetness from the watermelon. I find the flavor well balanced, but I like tart beverages, so ...

Raspberry Zinger and Black Cherry Berry have the same ingredients list, but for the flavoring (obviously), and an absence of hawthorn in this offering. Yet it doesn't taste much like a simple swap of modular components. I could pull raspberry more out of the aroma and aftertaste than the direct flavor itself. Cherry...

I'm a big fan of fruit punch flavors and decided to try this tea based on the other reviews. I wasn't disappointed. While slightly heavy on the cherries (which is to be expected, after all), it really does have a fruit punch flavor.
Aside from the tartness of the hibiscus, the flavor really doesn't reflect the named...

Almost the same flavor and aroma as the regular stuff but you can't hide the nastiness of Valerian Root! Unfortunately, the added pungency of the (sweaty gym socks scented) Valerian Root does NOT help the regular stuff make me sleep. Better off sticking with the regular stuff.

If I could give it a lower rating I would. The smell was nice and I thought I would like the taste - I most definitely DID NOT. The sweetness is overpowering. I drank one cup and hated it. I thought next time I'll add more water to cut the sweetness. Nope. I threw the other 18 bags in the trash. I think this is the onl...

Probably my favorite CS tea. I love the full rich taste and the slightly nutty aftertaste. I really enjoy it with some cinnamon/vanilla syrup. The smell is wonderful too. This is one tea I will make sure to always buy during the Christmas season.
