Earl Grey Black Tea from Stash Tea
Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: ?????23 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 1/5

This tea doesn't have a very prominent tea flavor or aroma. It has way too much bergamot flavor for my taste. It's not quite undrinkable. Bergamot enthusiasts may love this tea. I added cream and sugar.

I love this tea. I drink it practically every day. The bergamot flavor is strong but not overpowering. It blends well with the tea. I always add cream and sugar.

I'm impressed with this tea, since I don't like some of Twinings' other teas that much. It's pretty good. I added cream and sugar.

Served in a restaurant.
An above-average Earl Grey, with a strong, fruity bergamot quality, and a base tea with a rich, malty character.
I think the loose-leaf version of this tea is very reasonably priced, but the boxed, wrapped sachets are pricey. I suppose you pay for the packaging.
Earl Grey (Loose) from Ahmad Tea

Ahmad delivers yet another loose-leaf tea of exceptional quality for its price!
A medium-bodied tea, perhaps slightly milder than typical for an Earl Grey. Aroma is fruity, slightly citrusy, and slightly floral, with malty undertones from the base tea. Like most of Ahmad's offerings, I found this tea to be very sm...

This tea is good. It has a really sweet, interesting flavor that blends really well. It tastes really smooth. I don't usually especially like floral teas, but in this case I think the flowers are a positive addition to the flavor. I added cream and sugar.

Aroma is the familiar bergamot zing, and a little hint of the brightness that I tend to associate with better black teas.
Flavor: Surprisingly mild, given the bergamot on the nose; not really getting much "tea" flavor here, slight bitterness as the cup cools. Light palate.
Value: another work freebie to incentiv...

Simply put, this is the finest Earl Grey I've yet to try. Perfect balance of bergamot with the rich tea used. Fine aroma, flavor and finish.

I typically do not care much for western styles of black tea, but this Earl Grey is pretty good. The bergamot may seem a bit overpowering, but actually it's a fairly balanced tea. It is probably an acquired taste, and is good for people who want a truly strong and dark black tea.
When I got this tea initially, I did...

This is definitely a novel twist on Earl Grey, using a Darjeeling as a base tea, and having more lemony overtones than the standard Bergamot quality. It's not clear whether this is actually flavored with a lemony bergamot oil or with lemon as well, but it does resemble normal Earl Grey enough that I can see this as ju...

I enjoyed this so much that I traveled to Windsor Farm Shop in UK to buy it. Quite strong, so I often initially steep briefly in a small amount of water, toss, and steep again in a full size teapot. Truly lovely!

This was a good, solid Earl Grey, but it failed to wow me the way some of the other Novus teas did.
Aroma is strongly fruity but also somewhat deep and malty. Fruity aroma strongly suggests concord grapes. Good balance of base tea and bergamot flavoring. Less citrusy than some Earl Greys. Very astringent, and ve...

An exceptionally strong Earl Grey, much stronger than any of Tazo's other teas. I recommend steeping a little less than one normally would: 1-2 minutes still yields a strong cup, and then you can get a second infusion.
Aroma is very rich: somewhat malty, moderate bergamot presence, and some lemony tones. Full-bodi...

This is not a typical Earl Grey; it also contains lemon flavoring as well as the usual bergamot, but the difference is subtle. The overall character of this tea is relatively strong, but not particularly complex. There is a fairly strong bergamot presence, with some noticeable lemon too, but the base black tea does n...

I find this to be a very good Earl Grey tea. It isn't too heavy in flavor, but still gives my tastebuds a treat when I drink it.
The aroma is lovely, from the very few seconds of steeping until the last sip.
I enjoy this tea, its mild flavors, and its mellow nature.
Earl Grey Decaf Tea (Earl Grey Decaf Black Tea) from Stash Tea
Style: Earl Grey Tea – Region: ?????37 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 2/5

Rich, full-bodied, and flavorful for a decaf tea, but with some "off" qualities.
I found it was too sour and almost too sweet. It lacked the bitterness or freshness that I expect from an Earl Grey.
I just tried this one out of curiosity: it's not terrible for a decaf tea but I generally tend to avoid decaf teas.

My friend picked up this tea bag for me; I've never seen it for sale and couldn't find it listed among Lipton's regular offerings, although it was listed under food service: it may not be available in the U.S. outside of food service settings.

It is a sort of orangy red. It is a very rich looking liqueur. It smells intoxicating. It is not too strong, but it does smell a lot like the orange flavoring. The tea shines through that though and smells vegital.
The tea is very interesting. It tastes sort of like Swiss chard with bergamot orange dripped over it. ...
