This tea is a great twist on earl grey tea. There's a strong presence of citrus in this tea which creates a very unique flavor. Though this isn't in any means my favorite tea, it's a great blend to mix up your routine and try something new! I definetly recommend this tea to anyone that is a fan of citrus "which I am no...

Jun. 9th, 2017

This is the standard Earl Grey carried by Het Gouden Randje, but it's unusually citrus-y. I mentioned once that this tea is different from other Earl Greys I'm used to and the owner of the shop told me that other customers had said similar things.

So, it tastes and smells really citrus-y, almost like it's flavoured ...

Apr. 27th, 2017

The teabags smell really nice to me. The heaviest components are orange and clove. Adding water intensifies the aroma and brings out hints of cinnamon and sweet spice (cardamom? nutmeg?) in the background. The orange and spice overpower any recognizable tea aroma.

The flavor is dominated by clove with a taste that r...

Upon opening the pouch, the teabag smells pungently of bergamot. Unlike Twinings, this tea seems scented with only bergamot and no other citrus. Immediately after brewing, the aroma of bergamot is still strong but, like most decaf black teas, there is little noticeable tea aroma. There's a little mustiness that may rep...

Mar. 27th, 2017

The aroma of this tea, both dried in-bag and poured, is heavenly for those of us who love chocolate and mint. The main ingredient actually isn't black tea leaves or chocolate; it's peppermint leaves. Then instead of just using chocolate powder or soaking tea leaves in chocolate, the unnamed Canadian contractor who pr...

I like this take on earl grey because it adds a little bit of a fruity, sweet flavor. I like it the best cold brewed, because that is my preferred method to drink earl grey and the strawberry flavor comes out more. I like different takes on early grey, but they still remind me of the original more to be a super fresh n...

I love drinking this in the morning or afternoon. The hazelnut flavor is delicious and perfect with a dash of almond milk. I like to steep it for 5 minutes with boiling water. This is not a super strong black tea, it brews lighter than most black teas which is actually nice because it rounds out the taste.

This is my favorite of all Breakfast teas! The deep rich hazelnut ever so subtly enhances the black tea base. It's one of my favorite ways to start the day.

This is a delicious tea. I got it as a free sample with an Adagio order I made some time ago. It's meant to be a "gift" tea, so unlike most of their teas the only size appears to be 4 ounces. That's annoying to me, as I enjoy the ability to get small samples from Adagio to try what I like first.

It comes in a cute ...

If you're looking for the perfect morning vanilla black tea, look no further! The smell of this tea is delightful, vanilla but rich and nutty at the same time. The taste is phenomenal, the vanilla really stands out, but is very balanced with the two types of black teas. Really, really, lovely taste with a flavored tea....

One of the best ginger peach teas I have had. The peach taste is very noticeable, the ginger a bit less so. And there was no bitterness to it even though it is a black tea. Very nice.

The taste starts out rich with notes of cocoa mixing cocoa butter creaminess and rich dark chocolate, this is accompanied by sweet caramelized sugar. At the beginning there is a hint of rich vanilla that builds around the mid-taste, this explodes into a sweet, creamy crescendo at the end which blends perfectly with the...

Looking at the teabag boxes in-store, I wasn't sure if this would be a worthy purchase or not. I never had tried vanilla-flavored EG black tea before. With a combination of:
1) The really sweet, pleasant smell of the loose-leaf sampler as I crushed some between fingers and
2) The favorable Canadian/U.S. dollar e...

I found this Earl Grey, loose leaf, decaf tea online. The price seemed really good so I decided to order a pound of it. I drink Earl Grey tea hot or iced. Yes, iced tea is a tradition in the southern U.S. At any rate it was not good at all. I mean it was really bad. I am not some sort of world class tea expert but have...
